Very lovely guide so nice and knowledgeable the sake was tasty and interesting and the brewerys were pretty
An amazing sake experience in Takayama with such a knowledgeable – he taught us so much about sake that we were previously oblivious to. Tried so many fun and interesting delicious sakes - the only downside was not being able to take all of these bottles home with us to the states :)
Absolutely wonderful! Our guide was very well versed in the world of sake and could provide answers to all our questions. The breweries all provided a broad variety of different types of sake and they were all high class in taste. Would do again and recommed to anyone who likes sake and wants to learn more about it!

Interesting tour through many breweries in the heart of old Takayama. We’ve learned a lot about Sake. 100% recommended
He gave us a very detailed and easy-to-understand explanation of Takayama's history and geography, the characteristics of Hirase Sake Brewery, and the sake brewing process. We were even shown inside the sake brewery, which gave us a good understanding of the manufacturing process. During the tasting, he also explained the characteristics of each sake, which deepened our understanding even further as we enjoyed the taste. It was a great tour! Thank you very much!
William (Will) was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He went at a comfortable pace and helped us understand our taste preferences and how to choose/read sake bottles. One of the best Sake tasting tours I've ever done. Great choice if you have couple hours to spare in Takayama.
