We had a wonderful time with Elena and truly enjoyed the experience of the night markets and introduction to unique Vietnamese food. We went back to the ice cream place five times!! And the egg coffee we had was the best we tried. It was such a great way to be introduced to Hanoi and become confident with its street food. Also - it was excellent for our big family group.

We had so much fun doing this tour. Our guide, Tina was fabulous, full of energy, kept it fun throughout. The food was delicious, our particular highlights were making our own rice paper salad rolls and Bun cha. Tina taught us lots of Vietnamese words & told us about the city. We are a family of six, so a private tour worked really well. And we were really full at the end!!

We did the food tour with Elena. Hugely helpful and fine guide. She knows the neighborhood well, which is evident from her interactions with the rest of the local residents. You immediately explore the area with a different view that you would otherwise pass by. Arrive on an empty stomach, because you want to eat everything you taste. Thanks Elena! 😋

The tour was amazing and we were able to try all the signature dishes of Hanoi and North Vietnam . Apple, our tour guide, did a good job explaining the history of the food as well as how it is made. Her english was excellent which made it easy to understand her. Would highly recommend this tour. The total trip time was roughly 2.5 hours.
