Segui le orme di Mattie, Naomi, Sebastian e Mervin in questo tour Death in Paradise in Guadalupa, con partenza dal terminal crociere di Pointe-à-Pitre. Bere dove hanno bevuto, camminare dove hanno camminato e mangiare dove hanno mangiato. Sarai guidato da qualcuno che è stato una comparsa nelle stagioni 14 e 15 della serie. Avrete la possibilità di pranzare al Catherine’s Bar o semplicemente di godervi un’ora di tempo libero nel villaggio di Honoré.

Terminal crociere Pointe-à-Pitre: Il nostro autista e la nostra guida vi aspetteranno dalle 8:30 nei pressi dell'ufficio turistico e dei negozi (Terminal 1) del terminal crociere con un cartello che menziona il vostro nome. Ulteriori informazioni saranno fornite in seguito.
La tua guida ti condurrà in un viaggio panoramico lungo la costa. Si percorrerà la magnifica spiaggia dove ogni anno durante il periodo delle riprese viene allestita la casa dell’ispettore detta “baracca”. La tua guida descriverà le scene filmate in questo sito e il difficile ambiente di ripresa per gli attori. Attenzione: la casa dell’ispettore è visibile solo da maggio ad agosto.
La tua guida ti porterà poi al giardino botanico nel villaggio di Deshaies, noto anche come Village Honoré. Durante questa visita gratuita di un'ora, potrai ammirare una magnifica collezione di ninfee, uno stagno pieno di carpe koi, scoprire il villaggio di pappagalli e lorichetti e la maestosa palma Talipot, unica in Guadalupa! Avrai anche la possibilità di nutrire gli animali presenti! Una villa privata nel giardino è stata l'ambientazione della scena in cui il primo detective della serie, Richard Poole, è stato trovato ucciso (la villa non è aperta ai visitatori).
Continuerete la vostra escursione con una visita a Port Honoré, dove sono state girate tutte le scene legate alla partenza o all'arrivo di una barca, o che si riferiscono a un porto. Scoprirai una vista sublime sulla baia del villaggio, la sua chiesa e uno scorcio lontano del bar di Catherine. È un luogo sublime per le foto ricordo. Non dimenticare la fotocamera o lo smartphone!
La tua guida ti condurrà in un tour a piedi del centro storico del villaggio di Honoré, dove scoprirai vari luoghi delle riprese: la chiesa, il primo bar di Catherine, ecc. Imparerai a conoscere i vincoli delle riprese e cosa succede dietro le quinte.
La tua Guida poi ti porterà alla stazione di polizia di Honoré per una sosta fotografica. Questa è l'unica location permanente dedicata esclusivamente a questa serie poliziesca. La tua Guida spiegherà la storia del sito e il ruolo che svolge nella serie. Se è aperto il giorno della vostra visita, siete invitati a prendervi del tempo per esplorarlo. Le visite sono generalmente consentite da dicembre ad aprile. Pagherai sul sito il biglietto (15€ o 20$).
Dopo questa sosta al Catherine’s Bar, avrete 2 opzioni: 1. Pranzo al Catherine’s Bar : Per assicurarti un’esperienza il più piacevole possibile, il menu ti verrà inviato via e-mail in modo da poter ordinare in anticipo e risparmiare tempo il giorno. Prenoteremo poi un tavolo per il gruppo. Questa opzione non è disponibile il mercoledì e nei giorni festivi (Natale, Capodanno, Pasqua, ecc.). Il pranzo non è incluso nel prezzo. 2. Tempo libero per esplorare Honoré Village a vostro piacimento: per circa 60 minuti, potrete semplicemente bere un drink al bar (il Catherine’s Bar è chiuso il mercoledì), rilassarvi sulla piccola spiaggia accanto al bar o fare una breve passeggiata. Se desiderate sorseggiare un drink al Catherine's Bar, non possiamo garantirvi un tavolo, poiché le prenotazioni sono disponibili solo per il pranzo. Dovrai semplicemente trovare un posto quando arriverai.
Dopo il pranzo o il tempo libero, la tua Guida ti condurrà in un viaggio panoramico lungo la costa e il tuo autista si fermerà per ammirare i panorami mozzafiato. Alla prossima fermata, godrai anche di una vista mozzafiato su un complesso alberghiero, un luogo ricorrente per le riprese della serie e il luogo in cui soggiornano le troupe cinematografiche.
Dopo questa sosta, sarà il momento di salire a bordo del minibus per il viaggio di ritorno al terminal crociere di Pointe-à-Pitre. A seconda dell'orario di partenza della vostra nave da crociera, il viaggio di ritorno avverrà intorno alle 14.30 o alle 15:00.

Olivier was an amazing guide and was very informative throughout the tour. He mentioned that he had been an extra on the set in previous episodes.
Fabulous experience! Olivier was a great guise, very knowledgeable and having been an extra on the show, full of interesting anecdotes and fun facts. We were there during the filming period which meant some things were limited, such as the police station being close, but Olivier still managed to ensure we saw as much as possible, including some extra bits!! The botanical gardens were a highlight for us. All in all a great day out for DIP fans!!!
It was incredibly fun. There is a world of difference between visiting the filming locations with someone who is knowledgeable and has been involved versus just going through the points without context. The mere fact that Oliver showed a photo of how each location we visited looks in the series was very helpful. We then recommended the tour on-site when we met other tourists interested in the filming locations of the series.
My parents and I had the pleasure of experiencing the DIP tour with Olivier. Olivier provided an unforgettable experience from start to finish. He provided so much insight into the show and was patient with all of our questions and comments. He even had pictures to show specific scenes that were filmed in the areas he was showing us. It’s clear that he loves what he does and we highly recommend this tour!
This was an amazing tour! We were well taken care of by our Guide Olivier. He took us to all the important places of the TV show and had lots of interesting behind-the-scenes information tidbits, since he was an extra on the show. The ride was comfortable, and the tour was small, with only two other couples in the vehicle. Pickup was prompt and we were returned on time to the cruise ship. Lunch at Catherine's bar was delicious and we got some free time afterwards to walk around the area. Very geeky experience, a must do for fans of Death In Paradise!

It was a perfect day with Oliver. All the great spots from Death in Paradise were just totally great, We were lucky that Cathrines Bar was open. So we could finally have a beer there. The highlight was the police station. We were allowed to see everything inside and were fortunately almost all alone in it. The botanical garden was a dream. And we had lunch on the beach. We can recommend the tour 100%.
Olivier was brilliant throughout and did all he could to ensure that the small tour group enjoyed themselves and got the best out of this must do adventure. We are fans of the show and we specifically sought out this tour after reading excellent reviews of what we saw as a highlight of our cruise. We had a brilliant time and can totally endorse and recommend this excursion. Thank you Olivier.
It was a great day. Olivier gave thought to the timing of each of our visits so we could get the most from each experience and miss the cruise crowds. There is some walking around the Botanical Gardens and also through the town to the police station and Catherine’s Bar We thoroughly enjoyed the walks. Olivier was a very enthusiastic guide on Death in Paradise. Whenever we stopped, he showed us scenes from the show to prompt our memories of where we were & what we were looking at. Olivier himself had been in the show as an extra and it was fun to hear his experience. The meal pre booked at Catherine’s Bar by Olivier was great. We sat comfortably and enjoyed our pre-booked meal when it was super busy and people were trying to sit at the tables. Olivier was more than happy to take photos at all the different stops which were fantastic photos. The Botanical Gardens were beautiful. The feeding of the fish was an experience - the fish go WILD as you throw the food in. The feeding of the parachets was an experience too. We didn’t feed the goats, we gave our feed to a family with multiple children. The actual gardens were so pretty. All the trees, flowers and water features like the waterfall, fountain & stream were so restful to listen to and so beautiful. This was a highly memorable day & we would definitely recommend to do it with Olivier and his company.
We were picked up from and returned to the cruise port. The tour was meticulously planned and organised. Olivier was very knowledgable, not only about Death in Paradise but also about Guadeloupe and its people. The locations we visited were well chosen and representative of the most famous spots of the show. A must for fans of the tv series, but also very enjoyable for any visitor to the island. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!
