Very knowledgeable guide with great stories and use of equipment such as thermal cameras and rem pods. Very patient with the children we had with us both with answering questions and showing them how to use the equipment. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a the paranormal

Great tour and the 9-11PM timeslot just perfect for summer evening. Popeye was a terrific host- informitive, fun and patient. For those of us with a real interest in history and the paranormal- this is a unique experience. Wish there was an age restriction to tour as anyone under 15 years old can bea distraction to the group. Cant fault tour for that but parents. Nevertheless, would do again.

It was decent but not good. Guide was not in theme as mentioned. Good amount of information but nothing special unfortunately. Decent for the price but I was expecting more
I’m not really sure what you meant by the guide wasn’t in theme. Our gods are dressed in black on our paranormal tour. They are not in costume that was never listed in the description of the tour. They are paranormal investigators. Our other Tours are all in costume, but not this one if that’s what you were talking about. As you can read by all the other reviews, everyone loves the Tours. Denny did not seem very enthusiastic about his tour, it may have been the heat but if I were to choose another ghost tour I would choose the one associated with the official colonial Williamsburg group. They were more entertaining and in character. But to be fair, this was advertised as a more paranormal experience, and not a "historic Ghost tour". So I may have just picked the wrong one.
Yes, I do think that if you wanted just a ghost Tours the best Tours would’ve been our ghost witch and pirate tour that is a character tour and it’s in costume and it’s one of the best tours in Colonial Williamsburg ,better than the official colonial Williamsburg Tours because we have a 4.8 and they only have a 4.1. As of our Dead of Night Paranormal Tours as you can read by all of our five star ratings Denny is one of the best paranormal investigators in Williamsburg. If you’re looking for that type of tour, I think you just booked the wrong tour. I wish you would not have gave us a three star because of booking the wrong Tours because that’s not our fault but as she can read by all of our other five star reviews, everybody loves the dead and night Tours if you’re into paranormal investigations.
We had a great time. Even my 15 year old enjoyed it. We had several paranormal experiences, including knocking when no one was near. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is definitely worth it!
