Trip advisor didn't accept my review. Not stupid enough. AI is now controlling their world. Oh well. I did create a great one but it's not to be read.
Thank you Frank. Hard job! We appreciate you making the effort to report your second multi day dirt bike tour with us. We know you had a great ride with Guide Slim, following the Mighty Mekong up from Phnom Penh to its entry point into the Kingdom a the Laos border , and looping back through Tbeng Meanchey and Kampong Thom back to the captial city . A truly iconic ride. We look forward to welcoming you for the Cardamon Mountain ride to the coast next year. Ride free, ride safe
My partner and I had a great time with Hidden Cambodia in May this year. This was my second time in riding with HC, both times have been great. Our guide Mr Rong was incredibly adaptable and tailored to our needs perfectly - a highly skilled mechanic who fixed every problem we had e.g. snapped clutch cables and dead batteries. It was my partners first time riding 250cc bikes and Mr Rong coached her through it the whole way, can’t stress enough how brilliant he is. The route itself was also well chosen for us, with a good mix of different terrain and easy road riding. On the admin side, Shiela was great helping us tailor the tour to our needs. We felt the price was well set and the tour was organised down to a tee. The only warning I may give to those looking to book with HC is the bikes - they are undeniably well maintained but are old and therefore do have some issues. Most of the time this is no problem at all as Mr Rong can fix anything in a jiffy, however I must have been unlucky with mine as at the end of day two, the bike completely packed in, requiring it to be trailered back to base the next day and diverting our route. Regardless of this, we had a brilliant time with Hidden Cambodia. They have a great setup and really can tailor to any need you could possibly have. We will certainly be booking with them again in the future.
We had three private trips organised by excellent team at Hidden Cambodia for our family of four. Sheila and her team know their country very well and were able to recommend best options of your family. Everything was arranged well and plenty of information provided. All our preferences were taken onto account and needs of our family were catered for. Food was excellent and our guide Mr Rong and the driver looked after us very well during out long trip to Kulen mountain. We were taken places off beaten track that can only be reached by 4x4 vehicle. We really glad we chose Hidden Cambodia as our host company and hoping to do more trips with them during our next visit. Huge thanks to Sheila, Kimsoun, Mr Rong and our 4x4 driver for such memorable trips!
Many thanks for your review. We appreciate you taking the time We understand after 23 years of operations the challenges that families feel to leave the main tourist hubs and get out of the main cities to explore beyond in a safe and comfortable manner. Not easy to keep everyone hydrated and amused across the age groups the same time but we always wish our tours are away from the crowds to go deeper, involve cultural exchange and are fun! Delighted you enjoyed! We look forward to curating your next adventure as we are sure you will have a return trip again for more exploration and more insight into Hidden Cambodia and all the beautiful locations outside Siem Reap. Thank you for travelling with us. Very best regards, Hidden Cambodia Team
Hidden Cambodia set up an itinerary that included challenging ox cart tracks through the jungle, red dirt roads and minimal black top. They worked collaboratively to make sure I saw the temples I wanted to visit and added some stops I was unfamiliar with that I really enjoyed. My guide was top notch. It was a busy and tiring 3-days and, the highlight of my trip! Highly recommend them if you are looking for an adventure and have some experience with dirt bikes.
Many thanks Chris. The highlight of you trip to Cambodia - that's what we want to hear! It was our pleasure to host you. We are delighted you trusted us to coordinate this dirt bike adventure for you and that you got an opportunity to escape the towns and cities for remote hamlets, deserted temples and to explore outside of Siem Reap. We hope to welcome you next time for the North East - Ratanakiri & Mondulkiri and further afield. Ride Free, Ride Safe.
A really incredible, super great tour with my guide Mr. Slim. I was lucky enough to be the only guest on a private tour with Mr. Slim three days to enjoy. They were impressive experiences in terms of route, country and people. Mr. Slim led me on lonely jungle trails through his homeland. Numerous temples lined the path. Staying at private guest houses in the villages of the country was really great. The hosts took exemplary care of us. The local food was super great. A tour with the organization I can only recommend. Mr. Not just a guide, no, he's a friend.
Many thanks Bernd for your kind words and for choosing Hidden Cambodia to travel with us for your adventure dirt bike tours as well as Angkor when based in Siem Reap. It was our pleasure to host you for our 3 days dirt bike tour and we were delighted to guide you on your visit to the amazing temple complexes of Preah Khan, Ta Seng where we stayed for the night. Next day you moved to explore the ruins of the temple complex of Koh Ker, before staying overnight close to the ancient hunting lodge of Angkor Wat Temple, near Beng Melea Temple. We are happy you had the opportunity the next day to explore the magnificent trails of Kulen Mountain and National Park, with its waterfalls and carved riverbeds before arriving back at our base office in Siem Reap and that you enjoyed the company of your guide and tour leader. Mr Slim. We look forward to seeing you back again next year with a few friends and maybe by then Mr. Slim will have a few more words of German! Best wishes. Ride Free, Ride Safe.
This is my second trip with Hidden Cambodia, so that tells you a lot straight away. Organisation was wonderful and a lot of attention to detail. Ms Soung and Sheila were fantastic. Mr Rong was my guide again and looked after me incredibly well. My Rong knew the best places to see and the best way to get there. Extremely patient and ensured I had a great time. Thank you.
Many thanks for you review. We were delighted you chose to travel with us again and it was exploration of another part of the Kingdom. We look forward to hosting you again. Best regards. All the team.
Great company very easy to use. I called from the states worked through a couple things and it was that easy. Mr. Wrong was a great guide, good cook and great all round guy to hang out with. Especially since he dealt with me a very experience rider on tar not so much in the dirt. The office staff was very nice and very easy to deal with. They were very good about dealing with the time difference when booking, not thinking I would call my day time (U.S.A) and their night time. Would definitely recommend this trip for anyone interested. they also arranged a tour of Siem Reap the first day we arrive a must see if you are in Siem Reap. It should be spelled Rong, But MR. Wrong makes him sound like a Bond villain and why not dirt bike around Temples in Cambodia with infamous Bond VillIan (truly a nice guy)
Appreciate your review and we were thrilled your group enjoyed your dirt bike trip to the Great Preah Khan temple, Ta Seng in Preah VIhear province. A "once in a life time" destination. We are delighted to hear we were easy to work with. We are well used to different time zones and we hope to welcome you back to next year for another ride to a different part of the Kingdom.
I customized my trip to 4 days and 3 nights to include Phnom Kulen national park. My guide Narong was the perfect combination of skilled off road rider, mechanic, knowledgeable guide of the history of the temples and good English language. I opted for an initial one day trial before the trip to get back up to speed after many years away from dirt biking. Narong worked out the routes so that they were challenging and fantastic fun along remote trails without pushing me too far beyond what he knew I could do after the trial day. The remoter temples are fantastic, a must see and something that you can only get to with a dirt bike. I highly recommend this outfit.
Many thanks Andrew, and we have the distinct pleasure of telling you that you were our first multiday dirt bike " Post Pandemic Guest" since March 2020!! What a roller coaster this has been. We never closed and appreciate all our local riders that supported us but are glad to say that since Siem Reap airport opened, we are seeing a steady flow of International guests. Delighted you enjoyed the 4 day dirt bike Tip with Guide Rong & delighted you to to ride into the real Hidden Cambodia. We hope to welcome you back at some stage for another section of the Kingdom. Ride free, ride safe safe into Hidden Cambodia. www.hiddencambodia.com
