La nostra crociera di un giorno nell'affascinante paese dell'Albania è rivolta a viaggiatori avventurosi alla ricerca di qualcosa di fuori dal comune. Dal porto di Corfù, seguiamo la costa albanese fino al porto della città di Saranda. È disponibile un tour guidato in pullman di 20 km delle coste vergini della costa meridionale e delle isole sparse. Superiamo piccoli villaggi pittoreschi e pianure fertili infinite che conducono a un grande lago. Il momento clou della vostra giornata sarà una visita a Butrinto – un sito patrimonio mondiale dell’UNESCO. Nel corso dei secoli, l'antica città era scomparsa sotto strati di limo e vegetazione. Negli ultimi anni, tuttavia, gli archeologi hanno portato alla luce alcuni dei più bei resti di città lavoratrici del Mediterraneo. La Torre Veneziana vicino all’ingresso, l’antico teatro, il Tempio di Asclepio, l’antico ginnasio, le Terme Romane, il Battistero Romano con il suo inestimabile pavimento a mosaico, la Porta del Leone e le enormi mura ciclopiche vi trasporteranno indietro nel tempo da 2500 anni fino al III secolo.(FACOLTATIVO)

Breve pausa caffè nella città di Saranda
Arrivo all'area archeologica di Butrinto. Il tour dura dai 90 ai 110 minuti a seconda dell'età. Il tour per ospiti anziani o disabili comprenderà il 70% dell'area archeologica (con guida separata quando necessario). All'ingresso del sito è presente un piccolo bar/chiosco. I bagni pubblici sono disponibili alla fine del tour nel Castello Veneziano sulla collina dell'Acropoli.

Si prega di notare che a causa delle limitate strutture di controllo passaporti e doganali e a causa della mancanza di personale per il controllo passaporti, potrebbe verificarsi un ritardo nel processo di controllo al porto di Corfù, da 30 a 90 minuti all'arrivo o alla partenza per tutti gli itinerari estivi. La nostra azienda fornisce trasferimenti in pullman da e per l'hotel e il porto principale di Corfù. La durata del trasferimento in pullman dipende dalla posizione dell'hotel (da 20' a 120', circa). Si prega di essere al punto di incontro con almeno 5 minuti di anticipo e cercare l'autobus con un cartello Crociere Ioniche. Il numero di telefono del Servizio Clienti Corfù Crociere è disponibile per il trasferimento mattutino in pullman. Si prega di notare che la nostra azienda fornisce il trasferimento da San George-Pagi (Nord) ogni mercoledì, giovedì e domenica. Partenza dal porto alle 08:45. Imbarco dalle 07:40 alle 08:20. Il terminal chiude alle 08:30. Si prega di essere al porto almeno 40 minuti prima dell'orario di partenza della barca prevista se non si è prenotato un pick-up. L'orario di partenza è soggetto a lievi variazioni in base alle condizioni del traffico locale.

Knowledgeable guides (available in multiple languages), well-planned itinerary, the lunch is a bit light on protein for non meat eaters but I still left full :) Saranda isn't too interesting but Butrinti was excellent, totally worth it!
I really enjoyed all the information and looking at the ruins. Although disapointed not to see the big mosaics advertised in the description of the trip and my main purpose in going. The lunch was a buffet style and Although it was good I expected something traditional. As for the time left to look around Sarandra, we found it to be pointless unless you want more food and drink we saw two shops selling junk items, and we did walk up and down the tiered streets as recommended. Would not do again unfortunately.

The day was very well organised. We opted for the pick up which was prompt, professional and comfortable. When we arrived at the port, we were clearly directed as to where we should be and what to do, there were plenty of staff to assist. The boat was comfortable and the journey to Sarandë took about 1 hr 15 minutes, it was very smooth for most of it, around 10 minutes on the approach to Sarande was a little choppy. Once we arrived, we were professionally guided to the correct coach by language and greeted by our guide who stayed with us for the remainder of the day. He gave us great information as we toured the site of Butrint which was amazing. If you are unsteady in your feet the paths here can be a little difficult, there were some people with strollers on our tour and I think it was very hard for them. The included lunch was really good and in a nice location, we then returned to Sarande for around an hour of free time before heading back to Corfú. We were are party of 3 - couple of 55 and one 70+ year old - and we all had a great day and thought it to be exceptionally good value.

From our hotel in Messonghi, 50 minutes by coach to reach the city of Corfu departure from the boat. Then 50 minutes by boat to Albania where we discover the city of Saranda: concrete and buildings. The guide offers us from the arrival a break in a bar-restaurant (10 minutes by bus) to rest 30 minutes 🙄... And we leave by coach to the site of Butrint (35 minutes by bus), although classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site but where visitors are free to walk anywhere, no limits or protection!? The site is of little interest to us... ruins, mosaics that are on the guides but not visible because covered with sand to protect them. Then back to the restaurant included in the price of the exit (35mn bus), a simple buffet with apple for dessert 🥴. Re-bus (20 minutes) towards the castle Lekuresi where we are offered a 15 minutes stop for the view + photo, we take the bus (20 minutes) for a free time in Saranda 50 minutes but not much to see, new constructions, bars, restaurants and few shops... Finally: Back, it's gone for 1 hour boat to Corfu and 50 minutes bus to the hotel... balance 5h30 transport..😕 It may be worth visiting Butrint if you are already in Albania, but the excursion from Corfu is disappointing...

Tout d’abord, notre programme ne prévoit pas de pause-café à l’arrivée à Saranda. Ensuite, nous ne visitons pas le château de Lekursi dans le cadre de notre itinéraire. Enfin, la visite du parc national de Butrint avec notre compagnie est toujours guidée : nos clients sont accompagnés par un guide local certifié pendant toute la durée de la visite. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre expérience en Albanie avec une autre compagnie n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Ce pays offre pourtant de nombreux sites historiques, musées, villages traditionnels et lieux propices à la détente et à la découverte. Pretty organized and a well planned day to Sarande and Butrint. So many of the ruins are still standing and in decent shape. Bus driver managed to navigate a difficult detour due to construction. Lunch was delicious and included in my package.
