Fino al punto più a sud-ovest dell'isola, in uno dei luoghi più spettacolari e inaspettati dell'isola è dove trascorreremo la giornata. Elafonisi è un luogo di eccezionale bellezza naturale, qualcosa tra un'isola e una penisola, poiché per raggiungerlo devi attraversare il mare. Un tempo occupata dai pirati, oggi è una meta molto popolare per gli escursionisti che vi si riversano nella laguna lontana, pur facendo una vacanza mediterranea. Elafonisi è un paradiso in terra, un paradiso di impareggiabile bellezza. È ricoperta da dune di sabbia, alberi bassi, cespugli, gigli di sabbia e ginepri. Ci si arriva a piedi dalla spiaggia passando per acque poco profonde color acquamarina e turchese. La sabbia bianca e rosa fatta di migliaia di conchiglie rotte, le limpide acque blu-verdi, le piccole calette e le minuscole spiagge appartate ricordano ai viaggiatori un paradiso perduto. Fai una nuotata nelle calde acque tropicali e rilassati sotto il caldo sole estivo!

Trascorri una giornata rilassante sulla piccola isola di Elafonisi e prendi il sole su una spiaggia paradisiaca a Creta. Torna alla natura con una gita di un giorno da Rethymno. Dopo il prelievo in autobus, viaggia verso l'angolo sud-ovest di Creta per trascorrere una giornata rilassante sulle spiagge di sabbia rosa della piccola isola di Elafonisi. All'arrivo a Elafonisi, concediti almeno 4 ore per rilassarti e nuotare nell'acqua cristallina. Rilassati al sole o fai una passeggiata lungo la spiaggia di sabbia rosa. Approfitta dei chioschi sulla spiaggia dove puoi acquistare cibo e acqua per reidratarti e ricaricarti di energia. Situata appena al largo della costa dell'isola principale, Elafonisi può essere raggiunta camminando sull'acqua. Sia la spiaggia che l'isola sono aree faunistiche protette di rara bellezza. Partenza in autobus alle 16:00 circa e ritorno a Rethymno per un orario di arrivo previsto e rientro in hotel intorno alle 18:30.
Ammira il lussureggiante paesaggio verde sulla strada per l'isola mentre attraversi l'imponente gola di Topolia e passi molti villaggi antichi e molto tipici. Fermati per un caffè e fai colazione nel villaggio di Elos, noto per i suoi castagni.

Tour was really a bus trip with very little information given on the way. The meal stops were very expensive but we were encouraged to buy from them because they were supposedly cheaper than at the beach itself. This was simply not true and disappointing to be so mislead. The walk from the bus to the beach was quite long and would be challenging for some, I feel this should be clearly explained in the tour description. Also people should be informed that the beach itself may or may not be pink on the day you visit. A lovely drive and pretty beach however and it was nice to have the comfort of an airconditioned bus in the hot weather.

The scenery on the drive was amazing and the driver and guide were friendly, polite and informative. The prices for the 2 places we stopped for breakfast and lunch were expensive, cheaper food and drinks were at the beach. This was not what the guide told us, and being so mislead was very disappointing.

Amazing trip to a lovely beach. We were picked up o time to start the 2 hour trip to the beach The guide was great telling us all about the area On the way we stopped smat a taverna set in a gorge lovely scenery. When we arrived at the beach we were told where to go and where the pick up was. This beach was beautiful with pink sand in places, the water was shallow and great the children.On the way back we stopped to look at a cave although I was in the taverna having fresh orange juice. I would recommend this trip

Everything was perfect, the tour guide, the friendliness of guide and the bus driver. Highly recommend it for the visitors of Creta. Only one important tip to remember, confirm the pickup point with the tour operator else you will miss the bus, hence the trip!

I took my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide spoke German, English, and French. We stopped to eat on the way there and back. The beach was absolutely stunning. You will have to walk from the bus down to the beach for about 10 minutes. Bring appropriate shoes for it, it is rocky. We enjoyed our day so much, less stress than driving myself. Worth

I took this tour with my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide was awesome, kind, and so helpful. He spoke English, German, and French. We stopped for snacks on the way and spent 4 hours at the beach. It was gorgeous. You get there right before it starts to get packed, so you can get a spot. We had a great day. Stopped for food on the way home and then we were dropped off. If your hotel is not listed, they will contact you to set up the nearest pickup. Great price for a great experience! We loved it!

WE whent on the bus at 7. The guide was very interesting. WE arrived at Elafonissi around 10. Not much Shade on thé beach if you walk away from thé crowed, but very nice spots. WE came back at 5:30....Very nice day!!
