Tour di un giorno a Luxor dal Cairo in treno Sleeper

I booked a tour in Luxor for one day to West and East Bank. I was so angry I had to give comments twice. I am really disappointed with the guide this company arranged for us. The guide Omar was extremely unprofessional. He showed absolutely NO respect to us. He ignored our requirement of the itinerary at all, and he kept rushing us to the next spot. The reason why we booked a private tour was because we wanted to visit places in our own pace, and now thanks to him, it was completely ruined.It was very hard to communicate with him, we had to tell him very strongly that we didn't like the way he rush us, but his behavior just didn't change. His English is SO bad that I couldn't understand what he was talking about when he was giving tour; and what's more, he gave wrong information about the history of the monuments. Extremely unprofessional. He made some jokes which made me uncomfortable as well. For example, when we saw a gazelle carved on the wall, he told me "you are just like it", giggling. I didn't know what he meant and asked him to explain. He just keep smiling in a weird way and answered nothing. I felt insulted somehow. He even asked my husband that if he could touch me on my shoulder. My husband clearly said "no". But later during the tour he still did touch my shoulder a few times and it was totally unnecessary. Again, I was very very disappointed with your arrangement. Avoid this company.

Ahmed! Ahmed! Ahmed! You made our Luxor experience amazing! Great guide and an even better person! We had extra time due to the train’s early arrival and Ahmed improvised by booking us a private boat ride on the Nile. The sites in Luxor are incredible and Ahmed’s pleasant personality made it even more enjoyable. The sleeper train was a really cool and unique experience also. As for the transfers on the Cairo end: we received a text an hour before our scheduled pickup, saying our driver was waiting for us. We scrambled to get to the hotel lobby, only to find out that they were at the wrong hotel. Then on the back end, there was no one to pick us up at the train station in Cairo/Giza. Quite a disappointment.
