I due Templi di Abu Simbel, con il loro stile unico, sono considerati i capolavori dell'antico Egitto. Riflettono la gloria e la grandezza del nuovo Regno. Il governo egiziano e l'UNESCO hanno deciso di collaborare per salvare questi templi dall'alluvione. Il Tempio della Regina Nefertari è anche chiamato Tempio di Hathor che era la moglie del Dio Sole quindi in modo simbolico, i due Templi, quello di Ramesse II e quello di Nefertari, riuniscono Ramesse II, Nefertari, Hathor e il Dio Sole come uno solo. Trascorri circa 3 ore lì, poi torna ad Assuan.

The bus was comfortable, and the trip was very smooth. The temples were incredible, with so many beautiful carvings and stories from ancient Egypt. The guide explained everything in a simple and interesting way, making the history easy to understand. It was a trip I’ll never forget!

We did a private tour to Abu Simbel. If not visiting with a group of friends or family, I would recommend a private tour of Abu Simbel with H&M Tour. We had our guide Hussein pick us up from the hotel at Aswan. The tour was smooth and we got to spend adequate time at the temples. Post the tour we went for lunch at a Nubian restaurant at Aswan that served local cuisine. The food and the view from the restaurant was worth the money. Hussein helped us plan our tour to Luxor and back. By the end of our Aswan-luxor trip we were friends with Hussein . He takes a keen interest in Egypt's socio-political and economic condition. Being from an emerging economy myself, we had engaging conversation about our respective societies. I would recommend Hussein with H&M Tour to anyone looking at a private tour to Abu Simbel. Needless to say, the temples are splendid and it's really worth getting up at 4 am in the morning
