Le meravigliose Alpi Giapponesi si estendono dall'Oceano Pacifico al Mar del Giappone con splendidi paesaggi in tutto. Le Alpi Settentrionali a Toyama sono la famosa Via Alpina Tateyama-Kurobe. Questo percorso si estende attraverso una catena montuosa e attraversa magnifiche gole, incantevoli laghi e altipiani apparentemente infiniti. Durante il periodo invernale questa zona si trasforma in un paradiso bianco, con pareti di neve che possono estendersi fino a 20 metri (60 piedi). In questo tour salirai su uno dei nostri autobus aziendali per arrivare a Murodo, dove potrai camminare lungo questo muro di neve e goderti le altre attrazioni invernali della zona. Lungo il tragitto, faremo una breve sosta ad Ashikuraji, il tradizionale inizio della salita al Monte Tateyama. Itinerario
Dopo circa un'ora e mezza arriveremo alla base del Monte Tateyama presso il Santuario Oyama. Questo era il punto in cui la maggior parte degli escursionisti e dei pellegrini iniziavano la loro ascesa verso la cima della montagna, la stessa zona dove ci dirigeremo più tardi. Il monte Tateyama era venerato come un luogo di inferno e paradiso e in questa città puoi vedere il lato infernale della montagna. Enma-do è insolito in quanto è un luogo in cui adorare Enma, il dio che decide chi va in paradiso e chi va all'inferno. Scendendo leggermente nel burrone si trova anche il ponte che rappresenta lo spartiacque tra il mondo dei vivi e quello dei morti. Dopo quel po' di esplorazione, torneremo sull'autobus e ricominceremo il nostro viaggio verso la cima.
Arrivo alla stazione di Murodo. Cammina lungo le minacciose pareti di neve e attraverso i campi innevati sul "Tetto del Giappone". Goditi il paese delle meraviglie invernale in cima alla catena montuosa Tateyama. Grandi quantità di neve cadono sul paesaggio ogni inverno rendendolo inaccessibile fino alla primavera che porta temperature più calde e la possibilità di scavare un percorso nel ghiaccio. Lo straordinario corridoio di neve, alto fino a 20 metri, è uno dei luoghi più iconici del Giappone, facendo impallidire sia le persone che gli autobus turistici! La guida ti consentirà tra 1,5 e 2 ore per passeggiare nella zona (a seconda del tuo ritmo), compreso il tempo per esplorare il museo e l'area circostante. Alle 15:30, riunisciti in gruppo e inizia il viaggio di ritorno alla stazione di Tateyama. Torna alla stazione di Tateyama e sali sull'autobus turistico per tornare alla stazione di Kanazawa mentre modifichi le splendide foto di tutta la bellezza naturale che hai visto durante il viaggio. L'orario previsto per il ritorno alla stazione di Kanazawa è alle 19:00

Zack and Kaori were awesome for the Tateyama snow wall tour! I really enjoyed learning about the history/cultural significance of the mountain, and being given ample amount of time to explore as well.
We had such a great day tour to the alpine region of Mt Tateyama lead by the very knowledgeable Daniel and excellent driver Keira. Daniel explained our route and stops we would make along the way and what to expect. Really glad we chose this tour, which offered private transport all the way to the top at Murodo. We stopped at Oyama Shrine in Ashikuraji and walked down to the red bridge - a beautiful peaceful area, and visited another shrine nearby. Daniel explained the history and significance of the shrines and traditions still practiced today. Once we got to the top at Murodo Daniel showed us around and gave us all the tips to enjoy the free time to wander around the area. It can be very busy with lots of people but Daniel made it easy. We were shown the museum and replica Shrine, and learned more about the traditions of Mt. Tateyama, wildlife and flowers. There is the 'pond', which is amazing with beautiful water colours, and of course the snow wall. Gorgeous visitas everywhere around us! We even got to see snow monkeys on the way back down. It was an interesting day because Daniel knows a lot to tell. He speaks good English and takes his time. The snow wall is impressive but because of clouds the surroundings could not be seen. There's nothing the guide can do about this.
Great day out to the snow wall. Andy was an excellent guide, friendly and easy to talk to. Instructions were clear and he took pains to explain the history of the shrine we went to. Our driver was also excellent. Steady at the wheel and patient. Stopping at various points to highlight scenic spots

I booked a return tour from Nagano to the Tateyama Snow Wall and met my lovely guide Mr Naoya Harada (Hana) and I told him that I needed to end my trip at Toyama instead and he was really nice to link me up with Mike (this Scottish funny guy) who happens to be taking a group from Toyama. Both guides were so nice and helpful with our needs and take really good care of us during the times we are with them. Highly recommend this tour to save a lot of unnecessary waiting time and the journey was so smooth. I was so glad I booked the trip during this golden week in Japan.
