Auf dem ehemaligen Reichsparteitagsgelände befinden sich die bedeutendsten Überreste nationalsozialistischer Architektur in Deutschland. Der Rundgang zeigt die Reichsparteitage als gigantesche Propagandashow und Kehrseite des Systems der Konzentrationslager, leistet aber auch einen Beitrag zur aktuellen Diskussion um die Nutzung des Geländes. Das Zeppelinfeld war der wichtigste Teil des Reichsparteitagsgeländes im "Dritten Reich". Benannt nach dem Grafen Zeppelin, der 1909 mit einem seiner Luftschiffe eine sensationelle Landung auf dem Feld vollzogen hatte, wurden das Feld und die Tribune für die meisten Massenveranstaltungen während der Kundgebungen genutzt. Der Aufmarsch des Reichsarbeitsdienstes, der "Tag der Politischen Leiter" und der "Tag der Gemeinschaft" wurden hier abgehalten und von Paraden und Scheingefechten der deutschen Armee begleitet.
In der Kongresshalle sollte während der Reichsparteitage der "Parteikongress" stattfinden. Selbst im unfertigen Zustand ist sie heute eines der größten Gebäude Norimberga. Die Kongresshalle erinnert an antike Bauwerke, vor allem an eines der bekanntesten: das Kolosseum in Rom. Die Kongresshalle sollte 50.000 Menschen aufnehmen, sie wäre damit die größte Halle der Welt gewesen. Die gewaltigen Dimensionen der Reichsparteitagsbauten spielten eine entscheidende Rolle. Größe und Monumentalität der Gebäude sollte die Menschen beeindrucken.
Mit dem Bau der Großen Straße iniziò nel 1935. Sie ist 60 Meter breit und sollte 2 Kilometer lang werden, fertiggestellt wurden jedoch nur etwa 1,5 Kilometer. Die Straße war als zentrale Aufmarschstraße für die Wehrmacht geplant und stellt eine Art Nord-Süd-Achse des Geländes dar, um die alle Gebäude und Veranstaltungsorte angeordnet sind.

Very informative guided tour of the site. The highlight is the rooms in the grandstand on the Zeppelin Field, which are closed without a guide
We really liked the tour of the Reich Party Congress grounds. Everyone should deal with the history of the place because it is very important for the history. Our guide was great, explained everything and always hit the right note. Especially the visit to the large room in the zeppelin grandstand was great. You only get in here with the lead. So clear recommendation!
The tour was very informative and exciting, but also very entertaining. The tour guide was definitely a professional. She could answer all the questions and knew a lot about the subject. The Golden Hall at the end was very impressive and you can only visit it with this tour, otherwise not. Absolutely worth experiencing!

The tour of the former Reichsparteitag grounds was very exciting, educational and gave many insights into the past and present use of the grounds. With the help of many historical photographs and the still visible relics, a differentiated picture of the time of the Reich Party Congresses is conveyed. Our tour guide was very friendly, had sound knowledge and could clarify open questions very understandably. I learned a lot of new things and can highly recommend the tour!
