Esplora la Dancalia dalla capitale Afar Semera (590 km da Addis Abeba) con il volo Ethiopian Airlines Daily. La Dancalia è una vera destinazione di spedizione. Sebbene una buona strada di 350 km ora vada da Semera a Mekele via Afdera, i binari per Dallol e Do Dom (per Erta Ale) richiedono 4×4 e abilità di navigazione. È meglio visitare la regione con un operatore esperto che utilizza un minimo di due 4x4 e personale esperto che conosce l'Afar locale. L'accesso in elicottero è da Mekele. Attualmente, offriamo tour direttamente da Semera. Il tempo minimo richiesto per un tour completo è di due notti, trascorrendo una ad Hamed Ela e una sul bordo dell'Erta Ale. Si consiglia una notte in più all'Erta Ale se si vuole vedere il cratere di giorno e un'altra per il Lago di Afdera. What a tour. The most amazing places and really get a feel for the local Afar people. The destination is amazing but the journey there and back is too. ETT was super well organized and responsive in coordinating things. I never felt at risk. Be ready for some rough driving and a tough experience but as Nike brand says- just do it .

We booked 3 day tour to Danakil depression from Semera and it was really amazing! Tour was very well organized, whole team was great and the scenery is incredible! You have to go a little out of your comfort zone and that makes it even more special :) ... All the guys are helpfull, kind, reliable and really good company, all the best! They made our days very special and added something extra to the whole experience (special thanks to our guide Solomon and driver Awet)!
