Absolute hidden gem! A proper cultural experience full of different performances such as dance, story, fire walking, live displays and traditional buildings. It was very quite due to just re opening after renovations It was our favourite thing we did in Fiji. Must do.

We stumbled across this tour experience almost by accident. Stunning gardens growing traditional Fijian plants ( notes as to their medicinal and traditional food value) koi carp feeding and beautiful lilly pads in flower set the scene for a real eye opening revelation with authentic traditional Fijian buildings and a Temple with high priest, a Chief Hut in all its glory and fortifications. An amphitheatre under cover to watch traditional dance and song, expert commentary in English by Lana explaining the history and cultural story depicted by this professional group. Firewalkers, warriors and Fijian ladies dance and sing in perfect harmonies, and their story explained expertly. A must for those seeking authentic culture, and a wish to support local traditions in danger of being lost as this venture is unsupported by local government. The Kava ceremony was the pinnacle ( adult experience) for us, enjoyed with local warriors and our expert tour guide and commentator Lana. A huge thank you to all who participated. Venaka!

We booked the Spirit of Fiji experience online in Sydney before our trip, and the booking process was easy. On arrival, we were greeted by Fijians in traditional warrior dress. The seating was clean and undercover. The show began with two warriors inviting guests onto the boat for photos, followed by a fire-walking demonstration, traditional dancing, and a tribal war reenactment. The performers were engaging! Afterwards, we explored the island, saw the burays, and had the chance to speak with the local priest and chief. We were then invited to a cava tasting. There were also markets for handicrafts and demonstrations of traditional weaving. Overall, the experience lasted about 3 hours, with plenty to see and do and lots of variety. It would suit families, couples, or solo travelers—rain or shine!
