La nostra prima tappa della giornata è a Mossman Gorge, la base del Daintree National Park per una passeggiata interpretativa guidata con la tua guida, catturando il momento migliore della giornata per l'opportunità fotografica perfetta e la possibilità di avvistare un Boyd's Forest Dragon o un ornitorinco .
La nostra prossima tappa è il fiume Daintree attraverso la Mossman Township dove la canna da zucchero e lo zuccherificio sono presenti nel paesaggio. Arrivando al fiume Daintree facciamo una crociera sulla fauna selvatica. Qui puoi sederti, immergerti nella tranquillità e nella bellezza naturale, ascoltare gli uccelli canori e cercare l'elusivo coccodrillo estuario.
Lasciando il fiume Daintree guidiamo verso nord attraverso il pittoresco Parco Nazionale di Daintree fermandoci ad Alexandra Lookout per una vista mozzafiato che si estende dalla foce del fiume Daintree fino al Mar dei Coralli e alla Grande Barriera Corallina. Il tè del mattino viene servito con muffin freschi, biscotti, caffè immerso e tè Daintree.
Successivamente, esploreremo la leggendaria spiaggia di Cape Tribulation. Gli ospiti possono passeggiare su questa remota spiaggia di sabbia corallina bianca, dove si incontrano due famosi parchi nazionali patrimonio dell'umanità.
Pranziamo in uno splendido ristorante nella foresta pluviale dove i nostri pasti sono tutti preparati e serviti individualmente, seguiti da un piatto di frutta tropicale. Dopo pranzo, potrai goderti una nuotata nelle rinfrescanti acque cristalline del nostro torrente privato nella foresta pluviale (soggetto alle condizioni meteorologiche e di sicurezza dell'acqua).
La nostra prossima fermata è la proprietà privata della Noah Valley, dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità, dove seguiremo il pranzo con una passeggiata guidata interpretativa in piccolo gruppo con la tua guida esperta e ci fermeremo per vedere The Gateway to Paradise che mette in mostra una delle piante da fiore più rare e primitive in esistenza. La passeggiata interpretativa può essere effettuata prima o dopo il pranzo a seconda delle condizioni e degli orari di partenza.
La nostra ultima tappa della giornata è alla Daintree Ice Cream Company. Un extra opzionale altamente raccomandato: puoi assaggiare il gelato preparato con frutti tropicali esotici coltivati proprio qui nel frutteto.
Traversata in traghetto del cavo del fiume Daintree per il nostro viaggio di ritorno. Siediti e rilassati nel veicolo mentre la guida ti riporta al tuo alloggio dopo un'intera giornata trascorsa visitando il Parco Nazionale di Daintree.

Tony's Tropical Tours offre due orari di partenza solo da Port Douglas. La partenza alle 7:15 da Port Douglas e la partenza alle 8:15 da Port Douglas. Entrambi gli orari di partenza offrono lo stesso itinerario. L'orario di ritiro sarà confermato al momento della prenotazione e dell'accettazione. Se preferisci un determinato orario di partenza, contattaci per vedere se è disponibile. Non forniamo trasferimenti da e per Cairns o le spiagge settentrionali di Cairns, la riserva naturale di Thala Beach o il Silky Oaks Lodge. Gli ospiti devono recarsi autonomamente a Port Douglas e prevedere tempo sufficiente per raggiungere il punto d'incontro. Memorable full day experience with Rob our guide and 9 other passengers. Starting with a spectacular Mossman gorge walk then morning tea before croc spotting on the Daintree river. A most interesting walk off the beaten track through ancient Daintree Forrest then a delicious lunch at the Wilderness lodge where we could swim in the creek . After lunch we made for Cape Tribulation where we walked along the beach. Throughout Rob explained the geology, the flora and fauna and history of the area. A most memorable day and well worth doing while you are up in Port Douglas.
Cal was a great guide. Highlights were Mossman Gorge and walking in the rain forest. Sensible shoes definitely required for Noah Valley.

As a small group, everyone felt comfortable and Chris, our guide, ensured everyone could hear him as he shared his amazing depth of knowledge including a very sound knowledge of the botany and history of the place Ed we visited

A great day out with everything well paced. We were lucky with the weather (fine, sunny day) as the week before was wet. The full day does require a bit of a trek - as long as you have sensible shoes and a reasonable level of fitness you would be fine - there is some up/down paths in the bush. Take walking sticks if you have them. Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining throughout. The lunch was excellent though I felt a bit sorry for the vegetarian - the wrap and salad just did not look that appetising; the steak and fish eaters were the winners at lunch. Great boat trip on the river and saw a few crocs sunbathing, commentary was good. The company clearly values the close liaison with the first nations people which is appreciated. A good morning tea was provided with muffins and cookies, hot freshly plunged coffee and tea available and water too. Highly recommend and worth the cost.

Randel was a wonderful guide. He narrated most of the trip which was an 8-5 day. He was very knowledgeable about the area and all the places we visited. The tour took you to some incredible places. I highly recommend this tour for an overall experience at Daintree

We had a fantastic day visiting the Daintree Forest with the help of Tony's Tropical Tours. We would especially like to thank Ash for making the day a memorable one. We liked the Daintree tour but it felt way too rushed. It’s great for the “been there, seen that” experience, but not a good fit for us. We like to linger and soak in a location. We did appreciate the small group size and the guide definitely kept us on schedule. And lunch was very good. As was the ice cream.

Our itinerary is fully explained on our website, and we really do try not to rush. If you read the many 5-star reviews we receive, almost all the reviews state the time spent at each highlight in the Daintree is spot on! Of course, some guests would like to spend longer at certain locations, and we are able to do this if you book a private tour.

If I am being honest I wasn’t excited about doing an all day group tour but it ended up being a great experience - our tour guide, Ash, was incredible, the weather was good, the tour stops were beautiful, and the other people in our group were really friendly. Ash was super knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor but yet he was able to keep the tour moving. He even managed to find us a cassowary to view on our return drive! I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting this part of Australia!
