Itinerario
Inizieremo dal Parco Nazionale Mossman Gorge, che è la parte meridionale della foresta pluviale di Daintree. La tua guida condividerà con te la sua conoscenza della flora e della fauna locale e risponderà a qualsiasi domanda tu possa avere. Si tratta di una facile passeggiata di andata e ritorno di 500 metri, per lo più lungo passerelle. Ci godiamo un delizioso tè mattutino al Centro visitatori di Mossman Gorge. La tua scelta di caffè a stantuffo o tè Daintree con una tradizionale smorzata servita con marmellata, miele e panna.
Successivamente ci dirigiamo lungo la Captain Cook Hwy attraverso la township di Mossman e oltre i campi di canna fino alla foresta pluviale di Daintree.
Sul fiume Daintree ci imbarcheremo in una crociera panoramica sulla fauna selvatica alla ricerca di serpenti, splendidi uccelli e, naturalmente, i possenti coccodrilli di acqua salata. Sulla via del ritorno nel pomeriggio attraverseremo il fiume Daintree a bordo del famoso Daintree Ferry e godremo delle splendide viste su e giù per il fiume.
Potrete godere di una passeggiata guidata lungo una passerella nel Parco Nazionale di Daintree. Con un'abbondanza di flora e fauna da scoprire, otterrai una reale comprensione di come vive la foresta pluviale di Daintree. Questa è una facile passerella di ritorno di 650m.
Per pranzo ci dirigiamo all'On The Turps Restaurant situato presso l'Heritage Lodge. Goditi un delizioso pranzo cucinato su ordinazione in questo ristorante all'aperto immerso nella foresta pluviale lungo il Cooper Creek.
Dopo pranzo puoi goderti una nuotata rinfrescante a Cooper Creek. Questa bellissima insenatura della foresta pluviale è di facile accesso tramite un sentiero dal ristorante e priva di coccodrilli. Rilassatevi e godetevi la tranquillità.
è giunto il momento di dirigersi verso Cape Tribulation, l'area famosa per il detto "La foresta pluviale incontra la barriera corallina". Hai tempo per una passeggiata lungo la spiaggia o alla vedetta, un'area ricca di storia che viene spiegata dalla tua guida turistica esperta.
Sulla via del ritorno al fiume Daintree ci fermiamo per un gelato aromatizzato con frutti tropicali coltivati localmente. Una vera delizia mentre sei in vacanza!
E una sosta all'Alexandra Lookout per ammirare le splendide viste sulla foresta pluviale e una vista mozzafiato che si estende oltre Cairns in lontananza.

Overall the itinerary was good and covered the main highlights of the area without being rushed. Our tour guide Gavin was polite, informative, approachable and helpful. Insect repellent was provided which was an added bonus. The food provided was good. When walking in the creek Gavin offered his own flipflops for me to walk on the stones in the creek which reduced my discomfort significantly. As we went in early August we were lucky and managed to see 4 crocodiles. The Daintree ice cream offered a range of unique flavours made from exotic fruits growing in their orchards. We would highly recommend yellow sapote!
Totally worth the early start. Gavin had perfect timing at all stops. We beat the crowds for sure. His knowledge about trees and birds was well appreciated. We enjoyed the tour!
An excellent tour in all respects. The knowledgeable tour guide kept us informed about the local areas we visited, told us about the flora and fauna (and heaps more!). The food stops were well chosen so that we experienced local produce for morning tea and an excellent lunch. Thanks!

We had a wonderful day on this small group tour. Our guide was Peer and he was extremely knowledgeable and interesting as well as having a good sense of humour and being a talented photographer. He made sure that everyone in our group felt comfortable and had a good time and he went the extra mile offering to take photos of us and taking us to the best sight seeing vantage points. The trip itself also exceeded our expectations from the awesome sights to the delicious food we had along the way. I definitely recommend this tour and this company and Peer as a guide.

Great taste of the Daintree and cape tribulation. Very much looked after by Andrea on a well paced day out seeing lots of crocodiles, some rainforest walking and finishing off with ice cream.
