I villaggi di scisto sono già stati soprannominati "villaggi magici", i loro nomi suonano come romani, arabi e persino barbari, ma è il loro aspetto caratteristico che li rende così fantastici. Queste strutture, che risalgono all'epoca medievale, emanano una bellezza architettonica difficilmente eguagliabile ancora oggi, ancora più affascinanti sono i luoghi in cui si trovano per la necessità di insediarsi per attività pastorali e agricole. Durante questa avventura, ti porteremo alla scoperta di alcuni dei più bei villaggi di scisto della Serra da Lousã, nonché dei paesaggi mozzafiato che questo luogo unico ha da offrire... Nel pomeriggio visiteremo Penacova, il villaggio “dove vive la Natura”, dove “si respira aria buona”, un luogo che ti aspetta e dove il fiume Mondego ti guiderà! Segui e ascolta la melodia delle acque del fiume Mondego e del fiume Alva, senti “l'aria buona” di Penacova che ti contorna il viso e scopri mulini a vento e ad acqua mentre le verdi montagne ti accompagneranno.

Sergio is a great guide. The tour was very fun. It is a small tour company, but the feedback was perfect. Sergio picked us up at the hotel early. I will go on this tour again next time I am in Combra.

I did several different tours in Coimbra, and this one was my favorite. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. He showed us around several Schist villages, a water elevator, and windmills. We also got to try some local liquor (made by a wonderful local lady), a local pastry, and some village honey. It's these little things that made the tour feel really special.

I don't think there should be anyone better than Sergio for this trip. The car is very good, he is very kind, knows a lot about the history and nature of the place and is very responsible with the direction. The best: I'm excited because my mom went out very happy, she loves everything. And the best part is that he takes better photos than us! :) Look for him without fear! It was wonderful!

We had a great day out with Fatima. She was incredibly knowledgeable, freindly and entertaining. We felt like we were in very safe hands. The weather was terrible but we still had an amazing time, saw a lot of interesting sights and even the drive was very enjoyable. we learnt a lot and got a lot of great photos! We unfortunately had our intended tour to Piadao cancled due to bad weather, but Sergio was able to quickly put us on an alternative tour on the same day, which made things stress free. Would highly recomend this company and this tour.

The experience we had was really very good. Sergio showed us as well as gave us information about the sites visited that alone we would never know. It was an experience of infinite stars! I definitely recommend!
