Seeing the Last Supper was fabulous, but we were disappointed in our Tour Guide, Katrina. While she was extremely knowledgeable about the art, she could not tell us everything in the time allotted so she took more time... a lot more time. It was too much. She talked so fast it was hard to understand all of it. Once we left the area with the painting, she talked at us again, and then again when we were outside. It was exhausting just listening to her. Her presentation was too long for the time allotted. It was not a good experience. Katrina was also fairly rude to the security at the Last Supper. Our time was up and they asked her several times to leave ... but she just kept talking. Also, a woman was allowed in to view the Last Supper with our group. Katrina made a very rude remark to her about getting all this information without paying for it. Totally unnecessary. Finding where to meet up with our guide was difficult -- no specific instructions when we booked. We accidentally found some people waiting for the same group. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have known where to go. Glad we saw the Last Supper, but wish we had gone with another group.
The tour was great. The guide made it that way. But it was too short. We had to rush through to be it before the next group came in.
It was one hour packed with details. There is only 15 minutes in front of the work but a look at the life of Da Vinci, what he was trying to convey, what to look for, and how it was maintained/restored over time.
Katrina is a very knowlegable guide. We enjoyed every bit of the tour. It was over too quickly but so glad we paid for the tour rather than just try and go by ourselves.
Katerina was a great guide! She was so knowledgeable and engaging! We had a wonderful time and would recommend this to anyone heading to Milan!
My Last Supper tour in Milan was an unforgettable experience, made exceptional by our guide, Katarina. She explained The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci in a way that was clear, engaging, and full of insight. I highly recommend this tour with Katarina—it completely elevates the experience.
A visit richly commented by Katerina who gave us the keys to reading this fabulous work of Da Vinci. An exceptional experience!
