Scopri il mondo dell'Amarone e del Valpolicella durante questo tour di mezza giornata tra le colline della Valpolicella classica. Incontrerai la guida in centro a Verona e insieme al resto del gruppo viaggerete comodamente a bordo di un minivan privato (massimo di otto posti), per un’esperienza in piccolo gruppo, senza stress. Raggiunta la Valpolicella, visiterete due cantine attentamente selezionate, scelte per il loro carattere autentico, la gestione familiare e l’impegno verso una produzione vinicola sostenibile. Durante ogni visita, saranno i produttori stessi a guidarvi attraverso le cantine, raccontando la storia della loro azienda, i metodi di produzione e il profondo legame tra i vini e il territorio della Valpolicella. Dopo la visita, vi aspetta una degustazione guidata di 4 vini in ciascuna cantina, incluso il rinomato Amarone della Valpolicella, abbinata a una selezione di prodotti locali.

Itinerario
La tua esperienza inizia nel centro storico di Verona, presso il Teatro Ristori. Qui incontrerai la guida e il resto del piccolo gruppo (massimo 8 persone), prima di salire a bordo di un comodo minivan. Da questo momento inizia il viaggio alla scoperta dei vini di Verona, dal Valpolicella al rinomato Amarone.
La prima tappa è una piccola cantina a conduzione familiare, capace di offrire un’esperienza autentica e personale. Incontrerai il produttore, scoprirai come il vino viene conservato e affinato e parteciperai a una degustazione guidata di quattro vini. Durante l’assaggio, il produttore condividerà curiosità e caratteristiche che rendono uniche le sue etichette.
Proseguirai poi verso una seconda cantina, anch’essa a conduzione familiare ma con un approccio più moderno. Qui incontrerai nuovamente il produttore e visiterai le diverse aree della cantina prima di iniziare la degustazione. L’esperienza si conclude con una degustazione guidata di quattro vini, ideale per confrontare stili diversi e approfondire la conoscenza della Valpolicella.

I just completed the Amarone Wine Tasting Tour from Verona with Private Transportation by Waystours (a B Corp which I was so excited to see!), and it was absolutely amazing! This was one of the highlights of my time in Italy. Our tour guide was outstanding. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the region and its wines. They took us to two fantastic properties where we enjoyed beautiful storytelling, excellent wine tastings, and wonderful hospitality. The combination of learning the history and traditions behind Amarone while sipping world-class wines in such stunning settings was unforgettable. I especially loved how the experience fostered a sense of connection and friendships among the group. The private transportation made everything seamless and comfortable, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day without any stress. If you’re in Verona and love wine, history, and great company, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Waystours delivered a perfect balance of education, tasting, and genuine warmth. We had a wonderful tour with Stefano. He brought us to two amazing vineyards where we had very engaging tours and got to sample lots of delicious wine and snacks. Stefano was very knowledgeable on the full process and answered all our questions. We learned so much! Great tour and nice to see the difference between big and small winery and great wine tastings. Friendly and knowledgeable guide and in the hot weather the airconditioned van was a big plus.

Fantastic wine tasting at Franchini and La Dama in beautiful Valpolicella. Knowledgeful and dedicated hosts shared exciting stories about the area’s traditions and the production of Amarone. The tasting offered several great wines in beautiful surroundings, combined with genuine Italian hospitality. An absolute highlight on the trip to Lake Garda, highly recommended to anyone interested in wine and local food experiences.

We visited two wineries, Corte Borghetti and Corte Archi, only 20 minutes or so drive from Verona. The contrast between the two wineries and the approach to growing and making wines was very noticeable, which made the tour worthwhile. In total nine red wines were tasted and many bottles purchased. The air con in the van was welcomed and the insights provided by our guide helped so much. Very happy that we booked the tour.

Lorenzo was our tour guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The two wineries were beautiful in their own right. Food and wine were excellent. And the countryside views were amazing. True Italian wine experience. Loved it

A decent afternoon out. Got to taste 10ndifferent wines from 2 wineries. A medium sized winery and a small producer. Both interesting and both with excellent wine. The first winery gave decent sized portions and a fantastic selection of meats and cheeses to taste the wine with. The 2nd winery was a tad tight with the measures though.

Excellent host, knowledgeable speakers and great wine. Some of the wines are touted to pair very well with chocolate, they did not have any chocolate. That was the only down side. One of the vineyards had a few dogs who were very friendly. 10/10
