La città di Ohrid e il lago di Ohrid fanno parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO dal 1980. Il lago di Ocrida e i suoi dintorni sono abitati dalla tribù illirica degli Enkelej. Il lago fu chiamato dai Romani "Lyhnidas" (Lago di Luce). Visiteremo la famosa vista della chiesa di San Giovanni, la chiesa di San Nicola e la moschea Halveti Hayati Teqe. Ohrid divenne un importante centro per i credenti ortodossi durante l'Impero Bizantino ed è famosa per le sue 365 chiese ortodosse, che si dice ne abbiano una per tutti i giorni dell'anno. Durante l'Impero Ottomano la città crebbe sulle colline e nelle aree circostanti del lago. Lin questo piccolo villaggio sul lago al confine orientale dell'Albania è una delle gemme meglio nascoste di tutta la regione dei Balcani. La città di Lin è geograficamente benedetta e situata sulla riva di uno dei laghi più belli del mondo intero. È un perfetto inizio per la nostra avventura.
Il Monastero di San Naum è un complesso magnificamente massiccio, situato a 29 chilometri a sud di Ohrid, su un altopiano vicino al confine albanese.Il monastero è molto bello da vedere è costituito da edifici, uno stagno, un parco e il lago.Sveti Naum è un quadro perfetto complesso di chiese sulle rive del Lago di Ohrid
La baia di Bones è una baia nel lago di Ohrid e un sito archeologico di palafitte preistoriche sulla penisola e il campo auto di Gradiste. Questo è un museo neolitico all'aperto che rivela come vivevano le persone 20.000 anni fa.

Ohrid is a must see! The old town is beautiful and the scenery is unmatched. It’s a long day from Durres - 14 hours. We didn’t visit the Bay of Bones just had time to take pictures.
There needs to be checks on the participants that they have their documents necessary for leaving Albania and then entering North Macedonia. There need to be reminders sent the day prior as well as being confirmed prior to entering the vehicle. Two members of our small group had no documents and the group was turned away at the border crossing. Our vehicle had to leave, drop these persons off in a city nearby in the Lake Ohrid area (on the Albanian side), and then proceed back to the border crossing of Albania/North Macedonia. I believe we were also scrutinized more thoroughly when we returned to make the crossing due to suspicion on the border guards part that maybe we were trying something this time. Luckily we crossed and had a good trip. Unfortunately it wasted about a half hour for our group. The 2 we left behind later meet at a predetermined place that we picked them up from. The Good: Ohrid is a true gem and very much worth the visit. Very Good tour guide and driver.
There was only a brief wait at the border; everything else was perfectly arranged by the agency. The tour guide was also very knowledgeable and friendly.

Ohrid’s old town and lake were beautiful, and the Saint Naum Monastery was peaceful and unforgettable. A perfect day and highly recommended!
We had the best time on our tour from Albania to North Macedonia! Everything was so well organised from start to finish. The drive was absolutely beautiful, and our guide, Chris was so knowledgeable and friendly. We made some fantastic stops along the way and got to see so many amazing places. Chris made the whole experience unforgettable — we sang, listened to music, chatted, and laughed the entire way! Our group all agreed it was the funniest day of the trip, and our tummies honestly hurt from laughing so much. It was such good value for money too — we did a lot for the price! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting the area — and a huge thank you to Chris for making it such a great day (and night)!
