Non si tratta di un tour qualsiasi: è un'occasione unica per scoprire La Palma attraverso un itinerario studiato personalmente da Basso Lanzone, guida ufficiale con anni di esperienza alle Canarie. Ogni tappa è stata scelta per mostrare la parte più autentica e spettacolare dell'isola in un solo giorno. Iniziamo visitando la sua affascinante capitale, Santa Cruz de La Palma, con le sue strade coloniali, i balconi in legno e l'atmosfera unica. Da lì, saliremo al punto panoramico di La Cumbrecita, nel Parco Nazionale della Caldera de Taburiente, per godere di una vista mozzafiato. Il momento più impressionante arriva a Tacande, dove ci avvicineremo al vulcano Tajogaite (Cumbre Vieja), nato il 19 settembre 2021, percorrendo la strada costruita sulla lava. Vedrete con i vostri occhi la forza della natura e l'area in cui è scomparso un intero quartiere.

Itinerario
Il traghetto parte dal porto di Los Cristianos per Santa Cruz de La Palma alle 8:30.
La prima tappa sarà nella capitale, dove avrai del tempo libero (circa 30 minuti), così potrai scoprire alcuni dei luoghi più emblematici come: La Nave della Vergine, È una riproduzione della Santa María a bordo della quale Cristoforo Colombo scoprì l'America ed è stata costruita in memoria dei marinai delle palme che partirono qui con barche a vela fatte con il legno delle nostre montagne. All'interno si trova il museo navale con carte navali e riproduzioni di alcune di queste navi realizzate sull'isola. Il Castello di Santa Catalina, che fu uno dei più importanti della Spagna sulla rotta verso le Americhe. I tipici balconi che sono una delle migliori serie di balconi o sporgenze che si sono conservate nelle Isole Canarie. Evidenzia i doppi balconi che sono stati costruiti per ventilare le case.
Faremo una sosta per vedere questo paesaggio protetto e osservare la capitale dal cratere del vulcano La Caldereta.
La prossima tappa sarà nella zona di esclusione del quartiere di Tacande, dove avrai una prima vista del vulcano e poi andrai a Tazacorte, dove vedrai i flussi di lava più giovani della Spagna.
Ci fermeremo al belvedere di Tajuya per osservare il vulcano Cumbre Vieja, nato il 19 settembre 2021, che ha distrutto più di 1.000 case durante la sua eruzione. Questo luogo è stato utilizzato dalla stampa di tutto il mondo per registrare l'ultima eruzione delle Isole Canarie.

The weather wasn't the best on the day, but we still got some great views, particularly of the volcano and lava flow. We were going to have a coffee at a market but it was closed, and we were left to our own devices in a not particularly interesting part of the island while we waited for the bus to arrive. Also, where we stopped for lunch was just near a supermarket with not much to see. A good day out and I enjoyed it, but it could have been better.

A 9 km round walk, being the first part in descent to reach the closest part to the 5 craters that opened during the last eruption. Wonderful views and a blend of feelings between the sadness of destruction and the beauty of nature's struggle to stay alive in the ashes.

I took this tour in March 2025. The views were amazing. I had enough time to visit these beautiful places. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Great day out despite the early start and a little sea sickness on the way. That was odd because the sea conditions both ways looked similar, but on the outbound journey we experienced significantly more movement of the ship. From then on all great: organisation, views, pace, guide, driver, bus and late lunch stop. Persuaded us to come back to la Palma for a much longer visit. One thing i did note was that the maximum participants was stated to be 59. Our trip had around 20 and I suspect that significantly more people would adversely impact the experience.

Definitely a super recommended experience to know a piece of the palm and what happened and the consequences of the Volcan Tajogaite, both the driver and the guide (Rosi) super friendly and open to any questions! We also enjoy a good meal with your good potatoes! Highly recommended!

Rosa our guide was very knowledgeable and concise. The tour and the emotion she conveyed made for a great tour. Would have liked more time in Santa Cruz and maybe seen where the lava flow actually reached the sea but maybe we may have missed other parts. Worth the trip.
The volcano and all the lava. Amazed that it made so much damage to the surroundings. The guide was very good. She could talk 4 different languages. But 2 had been enough. But she explained very good what we saw and experienced during the trip.
