Alle 05:00 partenza da Ho Chi Minh per un viaggio di 3 ore verso il delta del Mekong. Lasciandosi la città alle spalle, lo scenario cambia in vedute di risaie, bellissimi frutteti sul lato della strada e altre scene tipiche del Vietnam meridionale. 8:00, arrivo alla città di Can Tho, capitale del sud-ovest, inizio della giornata con una visita al mercato galleggiante di Cai Rang. Mentre attraversi il fiume Mekong, osserva le attività quotidiane della popolazione locale sulle rive, osserva le case in stile tradizionale in cui vive la popolazione locale, nonché bellissimi frutteti, navi trafficate, cantieri edili e vivaci mercati dove si guadagnano da vivere. Cerchiamo di fare colazione al mercato galleggiante, bere un caffè speciale/bevanda analcolica e ananas in barca. 10:00, sbarco prima di esplorare Son Islet, un isolotto nel mezzo del fiume Hau che è separato non lontano dalla terraferma con orchidee verdi che si consolidano alluvionali tutto l'anno e persone oneste, adorabili ed entusiaste. 12:00, Pranzo con tante specialità su questo Isolotto. 18:30, arrivo a Ho Chi Minh

05:00 Partenza da Ho Chi Minh City per il viaggio di 3 ore fino al delta del Mekong. Lasciandosi la città alle spalle, lo scenario cambia in vedute di risaie, splendidi frutteti sul lato della strada e altre scene tipiche del Vietnam meridionale.
8:00, arrivo a Can Tho, la capitale del sud-ovest, inizio della giornata con una visita al mercato galleggiante di Cai Rang. Mentre attraversi il fiume Mekong, osserva le attività quotidiane della gente del posto sulle rive, vedi le case in stile tradizionale in cui vivono gli abitanti del posto, così come i bellissimi frutteti, le navi indaffarate, i cantieri edili e i mercati affollati dove si guadagnano da vivere. Fare colazione sul mercato galleggiante. È un'esperienza meravigliosa quando puoi gustare una deliziosa colazione rustica, insieme a una sensazione di instabilità ogni volta che le onde colpiscono il lato della barca che ti farà sentire eccitato. Nel frattempo, hai l'opportunità di immergerti nell'atmosfera vibrante della fiera mattutina, con risate di benvenuto e il suono delle inondazioni. In particolare, due famose "specialità" del mercato galleggiante di Cai Rang che non dovresti perderti sono "spaghetti scossi" e "caffè brasato".
Successivamente, la nostra guida turistica ti porta in alcuni laboratori tradizionali. Ti divertirai moltissimo imparando come i locali preparano "Hu Tieu" (vermicelli di riso). Sono morbidi, piatti, scivolosi e leggermente gommosi. Quindi, la barca ti porterà in un altro posto per gustare l'ananas (conosciuto come la regina dei frutti), fresco e delizioso. Il venditore sbuccerà l'ananas sul posto affinché tu possa godertelo direttamente sulla barca.
10:00, dopo aver visitato il colorato mercato galleggiante, check-out e sbarco prima di dirigersi ai tunnel di Cu Chi. 13:00, arrivo ai tunnel e pranzo con numerose specialità nel ristorante lì vicino.
14:00 dopo pranzo, trascorriamo un paio d'ore camminando per il terreno accidentato di Cu Chi con la nostra guida turistica. Scopri come e perché i residenti hanno costruito un'intricata rete sotterranea di tunnel durante le recenti guerre del paese. Guarda altri oggetti ingegnosi usati dai residenti per difendersi, come trappole di bambù e fosse mimetizzate. Sono esposti anche vari mantra e i resti di un carro armato americano, oltre a numerosi crateri di bombe da 500 libbre sganciate dai bombardieri B52.
Alla fine, striscia sottoterra (facoltativo) e dai un'occhiata alle piccole camere, immaginando com'era la vita per chi ci viveva. La tapioca verrà servita come spuntino al termine del tour. • 16:00, ritorno al furgone per tornare a Saigon. • 17:30, arrivo a Saigon. We did this tour with Khanh. The tour was very well planned out, and he did an amazing job of coordinating. Khan was friendly, understanding, patient and knowledgeable. We really appreciated having such an amazing tour guide for this experience.
This is one of the few tours that offer both the floating market and the Cu Chi tunnels. Great breakfast experience at the floating market and wonderful lunch at a restaurant. Very happy with the air conditioning in the car considering how hot and humid it was. Our tour guide, Chloe, and the driver were very warm and friendly. Would recommend this tour if you want to see both places.
We had a very enjoyable day out with our tour guide Khanh. He was very knowledgable and explained the history and facts about the Mekong markets and Cu Chi Tunnels. We had a comfortable vehicle with air conditioning and got breakfast and lunch in local spots.

We got the tour despite the other tourists cancellation. The guide was very knowledgeable, we had a great trip to Cu Chi tunnels. The food on the floating market and near tunnels was really good. Many thanks :)
Steven Duong was our guide and he was great. Very informative and nothing was too much for him. The floating market were great and so were the tunnels. The only issue we had was that the two experiences should not be done together as there is too much driving time between them which is not good for the driver or the people . So much time wasted driving, over 7 hrs just to see two things which took 2 hours. Maybe you can do them separately or include other things close by.
Our trip to the Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi Tunnels was greatly enriched by the presence of Steven an experienced and passionate guide who led us through each stage with competence and involvement. The guide didn't just give us historical and practical information, but managed to make us feel like we were part of every place we visited.
