Meta di Sorrento è una sosta panoramica perfetta per ammirare la bellezza della penisola sorrentina. Dall’alto dei suoi 111 metri sul livello del mare, offre una vista spettacolare su Capri, Sorrento e sulla Costiera Amalfitana, con scorci che spaziano dal mare turchese ai rilievi verdi circostanti. Il punto panoramico permette di catturare in un solo sguardo l’essenza del paesaggio costiero, tra spiagge dorate, scogliere e colline che degradano dolcemente verso il mare. Un breve ma imperdibile stop fotografico lungo il percorso verso Sorrento.
Le isole Li Galli compongono un piccolissimo arcipelago tra Capri e Positano, uno dei luoghi più suggestivi non solo della Campania, ma di tutto il Mediterraneo. A formare l'arcipelago tre isole, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda e La Castelluccia, e insieme integrano una zona marina protetta estremamente suggestiva.
Positano è un luogo forse unico al mondo! E' un gioiello di architettura spontanea, incastonato sulla roccia a strapiombo sul mare. Grappoli di case colorate, a volte dall'aspetto cubico, sono costruiti su gradoni spesso ripidissimi, che scendono fino alla spiaggia, collegati da vicoli e lunghe scalinate.
La leggenda narra che nel suo mare abitavano le mitiche Sirene che tentarono Ulisse con un canto melodioso. E ancora oggi ad andare su quel mare - dai riflessi blu e verdi, in mille sfumature diverse secondo il gioco del sole - si può immaginare che dalle onde emergano - bellissime e suadenti - le Sirene. Ma forse è Sorrento una Sirena che avvince e ammalia con i profumi degli alberi di limoni e aranci, con gli ulivi dagli scuri tronchi contorti e dalle foglie d'argento che si muovono piano, con un lieve suono, al vento che viene dal mare, con le rocce nate dalla furia lontana di un vulcano.
Pompei è una città della Campania, situata nel Golfo di Napoli e sulle pendici del vulcano Vesuvio. È una città con una origine antichissima: nacque come insediamento osco, fu in seguito abitata dai sanniti e poi, a partire dal primo secolo a.C., conquistata dai romani. Città sepolta dall’Eruzione del Vesuvio. Oggi è conosciuta come la città in cui è presente uno dei siti archeologici più importanti al mondo. La città romana fu infatti sepolta dalla lava in seguito all’eruzione del Vesuvio nel 79 d.C. La lava e la cenere sono state una sorta di copertura che ha permesso alla città di mantenersi nel corso dei secoli e di essere protetta dalle intemperie; proprio per tale ragione la città è rimasta intatta ed è oggi visitabile. Nota: il tempo rimanente è per il giro di andata e ritorno e il tempo trascorso tra le attrazioni.

This was a lovely tour of Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Paolo was our driver and was very professional and affable. He gave us time to allow us to explore the shops in Positano, but was also considerate that we needed to avoid spending too much time so that we did not miss out on seeing Pompeii. This was about an 8 hour excursion and we needed this time - Pompeii is an expansive site, it is important to give yourself time to see this adequately. An additional entrance fee to the archaeological site will need to be paid (about 20 Euros). We had the pleasure of been driven in a comfortable vehicle and a driver that is very knowledgeable of Naples. During the Pompeii tour we were given headphones to listen to an expert tour guide as we followed her through the labyrinth streets and corridors of this historical site. A splendid tour that has sparked our desire to revisit Naples, thanks to Paolo!
