Da Lisbona: tour per piccoli gruppi a Tomar e ai Templari

Questa escursione in piccolo gruppo da Lisbona inizia con un'avventura sull'Acquedotto dos Pegões, una struttura vertiginosa alla periferia della città. Visiteremo poi il Convento di Cristo, un monumento di sontuosa architettura che domina la città e che fu occupato dai Cavalieri Templari. Dopo pranzo, faremo una passeggiata nella città di Tomar per apprezzare il suo stile di vita tranquillo e gentile, le sue stradine e vi spiegherò la sua incredibile storia legata ai Tabuleiros sparsi per la città! Questo tour culturale fuori dai sentieri battuti si conclude con un po' di tempo libero nella città vecchia, senza dimenticare una foto ricordo davanti al TOMAR.

Veduta esterna di questo incredibile acquedotto la cui altezza raggiunge i 30 metri di altezza. Per chi non soffre di vertigini possiamo avventurarci lungo l'acquedotto fino al centro.
Ammireremo il Convento di Cristo, dichiarato dall'UNESCO, e la superba vista di Tomar dai bastioni. Poi visiteremo l'interno del Convento (prezzo non incluso: 15 €/persona) dove spiegherò le diverse fasi di costruzione di questo monumento, tra cui la sontuosa Charola e la finestra di Manuéline.
Pranzo in un ristorante locale per assaggiare la cucina portoghese.
Osservazione dei diversi dettagli e monumenti della piazza (municipio, chiesa, statua), quindi visita del centro città e passeggiata lungo il fiume Nabao.
Tempo libero per scoprire la vita locale, i negozi e i caffè secondo i tuoi ritmi.

A wonderful day trip to Tomar to visit the Castle ruins and The Convent of Christ complex. It is a truly magnificent complex to walk around. It is also worth noting that a walk around the actual town of Tomar is highly recommended to understand more if the history of Tomar. João, our guide provided a great deal of information of Tomar and made the trip worthwhile.

Jean-Rémi was our tour guide and he was very accommodating and informative. We ended up with a private tour as it was only the two of us and he did a great job. We were able to see all the Knight Templar sites and made several interesting stops on the way. We will definitely be back to see the rest of Portugal.
