Il tempio con 1008 statue di divinità indù sono opera dello scultore dell'India meridionale, Nagalingam e suo figlio Ramanathan, con l'aiuto di circa 100 designer, pittori e architetti del Tamil Nadu e dello Sri Lanka. Il Raja Koburum è stato completato nel 2007 al costo di circa Rs 150M
visitiamo il Giardino delle Spezie a base di erbe, dove vi verranno presentate diverse spezie e mostrate come alcune di queste spezie vengono coltivate e processate. Potrai anche acquistare queste spezie se lo desideri!
Una volta che verremo a prendervi con il nostro veicolo con aria condizionata per rilassarci e una guida per l'autista per condividere questa bellissima e storica Sigiriya e altre attrazioni lungo la strada. Ammira l'architettura e gli affreschi e il grande portale a forma di leone.
Il tempio della caverna di Dambulla ha cinque caverne separate che contengono circa 150 statue e dipinti di Buddha assolutamente stupefacenti, alcune delle più importanti e suggestive opere religiose dello Sri Lanka. Le immagini del Buddha sono state create qui oltre 2000 anni fa e nei secoli successivi i re hanno arricchito e abbellito l'arte delle caverne.

We had to consider for the time being whether our trip even takes place because we had no contact until a day before, then took care of the contact ourselves. Then it was a really great tour we were picked up at a cafe and had enough time everywhere to see everything we wanted to see. Our guide Krish, who filled in for his brother at short notice, was super friendly and knew a lot of new information for us about all the sights. We weren’t talked up and Krish knew the prices for the tickets as well. Was a great day😊

We originally booked Chandu to take us to Dambulla caves and sigriya rock. Along with that we visited a herb garden and went out to a local place for breakfast and lunch. Chandus car was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our trip so much that we booked him again for the following day to take us to our next destination where he took us to a tea plantation, waterfalls and for lunch. We had the best 2 days in Sri Lanka with Chandu and we will remember our time with him well! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chandu to other travellers. Great company, great price and great quality around. Chandu you're a joy to be around!

This was an awesome experience. We’ve booked the tour from Kandy to Sigiriya at 4pm and departed at 8:30. The driver bought us coconuts on the road (and they were way more better then we’ve got in the Kandy Market). Driving was calm and smooth. Before the Sigiriya we were gifted with a cold water, and only later we understood how important it was 😂 It was a pleasure and I wish everyone to try!

Chandu is very experienced guide with lots of tips. We were in Sighiria, spice garden, tea plantages and Village tour, which we really enjoyed. He was also helpfull and empathic and went us to his familly and her mother provided us really good traditional food. Thank you so much and hope to see you again in the future!

Driver was wonderful! He drove me from Kandy to sigiriya, and afterwards set me up with any transportation I needed getting around the rest of my trip all over Sri Lanka! As a solo girl traveler, it was nice to have him making sure I was getting around safely!
