Pranzerete in un ristorante dell'Oasi. Una giornata che offre un cambio di scenario completo. Inoltre, Ksar Ghilan è vicina a Djerba, raggiungibile con una breve gita di un giorno. I due deserti, uno montuoso e l'altro sabbioso, aspettano solo di essere esplorati. Il deserto di Ksar Ghilan, con la sua sabbia rosso ocra, è il posto migliore per un giro in cammello o in quad (a pagamento). Il forte romano situato a 7 km dall'oasi è una delle maggiori attrazioni che testimonia la presenza dell'Impero Romano nella regione (per raggiungerlo è necessario iscriversi ad un tour in quad: extra)

Ksar Ghilan il forte romano (e non l'oasi), questo posto di sorveglianza romano ti dà un'idea del commercio delle carovane del passato.
L'oasi di Ksar Ghilane offre molta freschezza e ombra anche in estate. Inoltre è possibile fare il bagno nelle sorgenti termali, sia in estate che in inverno. La distesa del palmeto, la cultura dei 3 livelli e soprattutto il grande Sahara che si erge proprio dietro l'oasi. Sabbia rosso ocra e dune a perdita d'occhio.
Scoprite un granaio berbero arroccato in cima a una montagna, ben protetto lassù, vedrete i Ghorfas, che un tempo venivano utilizzati per conservare le provviste della tribù berbera. Sul posto si trova anche un antico frantoio e una moschea. La posizione offre una vista libera sull'oasi di Ferch, una delle poche oasi naturali della Tunisia meridionale. Ksar Hadada è anche il luogo in cui sono state girate le riprese del film Astro nascente Wars.
Attraversando la vivace cittadina di Medenine, vedrete Ksar Medenine, il granaio della pianura circondato da un popolare souk (passateci senza fermarvi). L'attraversamento del Djebel Daher vi offrirà magnifici paesaggi sul Reg, il deserto di rocce (un'ora).

The description does not correspond to what you will do or see. Be careful the Roman fort is optional (30 €) to do quad biking. Water is not included in the meal. I still had a very good day, I recommend.

❌ Very bad experience with Sahara Caravan 12 We had booked an excursion to Ksar Ghilane through Booking.com. The claimant had confirmed an appointment at 6am. The day before, no news despite several reminders by WhatsApp and email. That same evening, no message, no details on the precise time or place. We tried to call several times without success. Finally, that same morning, we managed to reach the person in charge... who simply told us: “I don’t have a car today, we cancel.” ➤ No prior warning ➤ No real excuses ➤ A totally absent organization We lost our morning, cancelled other projects, and were left with no alternative. This behaviour is unacceptable, especially for such a logistical activity as the desert. ⚠️ I strongly advise against this agency. If you are looking for a serious experience in the desert, pass your way.
It’s really an activity to do, the scenery is amazing! Our guide was very kind even if he did not speak our language very well, the meal was nice but a little too spiced for us.
We had an unforgettable day, lots of beautiful photos and experiences! We had a very good communication with Ali before our day in the desert. We will keep lasting memories because we were so far removed. The driver being kind, very friendly. He gave us an explanation of the way of life of the inhabitants. He gave us time to enjoy without ever being impatient or jaded. We recommend with your eyes closed. Canceled on me 7 hours beforehand, 11pm the night before for 6am pickup, he apologized but gave no explanation. Would not choose this because not reliable. He apologized and gave me a refund, offered to take me a different day but he knew I was flying out so also knew that was not possible. Really unfortunate because I was looking forward to seeing the Sahara

He canceled on me 7 hrs before the trip was supposed to begin and offered no explanation. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to this for my whole trip. He didn’t respond to my questions until 8pm and then didn’t cancel until 11pm, for a 6am pickup. He said he was sorry, Viator gave me a refund
