Da Bali Monte Bromo Alba e Ijen Vulcano Blue Fire

This was by far the most disorganized tour I have ever been on, and in hindsight we would have gone on a private tour instead. Despite the photos, you will be on a big tour bus, not a van. There were about 40 people per bus, so with 2 buses with was closer to 80 people. We wasted hours every day waiting around and missed the sunrise on Bromo. During the trip, there was basically no communication whatsoever. For one, there isn’t a consistent point of contact the entire trip, each section has a different person who seems to be unaware of decisions being made by the main office. It’s incredibly difficult to get ahold of the organizers, and they sent us incorrect information (inaccurate itinerary with wrong hotel location, wake up times). There was a fire at Bromo the day we were scheduled to go and they initially offered an alternative itinerary, but then they deleted the message and stopped responding when asked about it. Overall terribly organized, go with a different tour!

What an unforgettable experience! The pre-dawn trek into the Ijen Volcano to see the blue flames was otherworldly. Guide Rafa was such a kind and patient guide, making sure everyone in the join-in group felt safe and comfortable on the challenging terrain. The transport was efficient. This tour is a powerhouse of natural wonder and a true test of endurance!

This tour was the perfect escape into raw nature! The Mount Bromo Sunrise photos don't even do it justice. The entire logistic setup, from the food breaks to the transfers, was executed flawlessly by YKExplore. The mountain accommodation was cozy and exactly what we needed after the early 3 AM wake-ups. If you want an amazing adventure with a dose of humor, ask for Guide Sam Fun! He made the long journey feel short and the early mornings feel fun. The join-in group was small and friendly. I can honestly say this tour was the highlight of my trip to Southeast Asia. The views at Bromo are insane! We pushed ourselves to climb Ijen, and I felt so proud when we made it. Guide Rafa was encouraging and patient with the entire join-in group. If you're physically fit and looking for adventure, I urge you to book this one. Amazing organization!

Just wrapped a 3-day trip and honestly… speechless. Me and the squad are definitely not early risers, but dragging ourselves out of bed at 2 AM was totally worth it once we saw those views. Zero regrets. Big props to YKExplore for taking over the whole logistics game. The drive from Bali is kinda long, but our driver was a total MVP—super safe but still let us run our Spotify playlists the entire ride. The itinerary was clean and well-executed; our guide knew all the right spots and managed to get us ahead of the massive crowds. The stay was great too. We got these cozy homestays/lodges authentic vibes but still comfy enough to recharge. Low-key loved chilling there with a Bintang after the hikes. And seriously, don’t sleep on the Blue Fire. It’s crazy in the best way. If you want an adventure that feels premium but without the stress of planning, this team delivers.
