Partenza dal nostro terminal per un tour di un giorno attraverso l'autostrada nazionale costiera per il canale di Corinto (breve sosta).
Dopo il Canale di Corinto, si entra nella regione di Argolide, terra di Micene dorate di Omero, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Risalente al II secolo a.C., Micene era uno dei maggiori centri della civiltà greca e una roccaforte militare che dominava gran parte della Grecia meridionale. Visita il sito archeologico, sede del regno del mitico Agamennone. Vedrai le mura ciclopiche, la porta del leone, le tombe reali, tra cui quella di Agamennone Clitennestra, e il tesoro di Atreo, un magnifico quattordicesimo secolo a.C. struttura. A Micene avrai la possibilità di una sosta facoltativa in una fabbrica di ceramiche.
Poi, procedi verso Nauplia, la prima capitale della Grecia moderna, una città ricca di storia e fascino. Goditi un tour guidato a piedi attraverso il centro storico e poi hai tempo libero per passeggiare per la città al tuo ritmo, esplorando le sue pittoresche strade, gli eleganti edifici neoclassici e le vivaci piazze. Ammira la vista di Bourtzi, l'iconico isolotto fortificato del porto, prima di pranzare in un ristorante tradizionale.
Proseguire per Epidauro e visitare il teatro antico. Such a great day tour of ancient and modern Greece! Epidaurus and Mycenae are amazing! Corinth is interesting and Nafplion is quaint and has lots of dining and shopping options available. Our guide Katerina was very knowledgeable, efficient, and funny! Although just a day tour, we covered a lot of ground and many centuries!

In Greece, one does not move around using public transport, so I chose this tour to visit part of the Peloponnese. Interesting visits to historical sites, Mycenae and Nafplio are special. I would have gladly stayed 30 more minutes in each place to enjoy the vibes more :)
