Inizia la giornata in modo intelligente e goditi un'esperienza più confortevole e frenetica in un piccolo gruppo dal nostro punto di incontro centrale a Platia Karaiskaki. Partenza da Atene con un assistente di viaggio amichevole (archeologo) in autobus dalla Platia Karaiskaki e raggiungere Delfi che sorge tra due rocce terrazzate, le Fedriadi. Delfi è considerata l’“ombelico della terra” e il centro della saggezza dell’antica civiltà greca. Era il sito più sacro dell'antico greco che ospitava l'Oracolo di Delfi con il priorato del dio olimpico Apollo, Pizia che trasferì la predizione del dio agli umani. Esplora l'Oracolo di Delfi e bevi l'acqua della sacra sorgente Castalia. Se siete fortunati, chissà che l’antico spirito di Pythia non vi riveli il futuro! Passeggiata intorno al sito archeologico con i reperti unici come il Tesoro degli Ateniesi, la Cupola di Atene Preveggenza, il Tempio di Apollo, le rovine dell'Antico Stadio e il Teatro di Delfi.
Quindi, visita il moderno museo archeologico di Delfi. I reperti archeologici sono conservati nel museo dall'età arcaica a quella romana, con imponenti manufatti come gli Iniohos, la Sfinge dei Naxi e la statua di Antinoo. Delfi non è solo la storia in quanto è anche conosciuta per la gastronomia. Quindi goditi una pausa gastronomica con deliziosi foodies greci fatti in casa.
Partiremo per Atene intorno alle 15:00 facendo una sosta nel bellissimo villaggio di Arachova per catturare l'incantevole paesaggio. Arachova si trova proprio ai piedi del monte Parnaso ed è una località invernale molto famosa per gli abitanti della Grecia centrale. Torniamo verso le 17:30 allo Smart-Eco-Pickup di AMMON EXPRESS, la stazione della metropolitana di Halandri. Unisciti a noi e avrai la sensazione di stare con un amico che è entusiasta di portarti in giro come un greco!

A wonderful experience. Trip organized in a truly small group. Our guide, an archaeologist, drove the van and explained to us in English what was necessary to be able to enjoy the visit to Delphi. On the way back, we stopped for two hours in Arachova, a charming mountain town near the local ski slopes. Highly recommended.
Delphi was gorgeous and interesting. The stop in Arachova for lunch was great. Beautiful town and my kids especially loved the lunch and the ice cream afterward. Has the most beautiful view from the bakery! Was nice to get out of the heat in Athens for a day as well
We really enjoyed our Athens-Delphi trip with Ammon Express. The small group size and van was perfect for us. We were able to get to the site at Delphi before most of the large tour busses and avoid crowds in Arachova. We were provided with a link to an audio tour of the archaeological site at Delphi that was very informative, fairly easy to use, and allowed us to move through the site at our own pace. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and provided great information on the drive to and from Delphi.
Excellent for spending the day, with interesting places, the guide very friendly. You visit the museum and the sanctuary for an additional cost, it is totally worth it
This was a great tour! The highlights include: - Our tour guide was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly - As a Greek mythology nerd, I was in heaven in Delphi and the audio guide via phone that was included in the tour was well-informed and interesting - Arachova was a nice stop for shopping and had beautiful views
If you have an interest in the history of Greece and the Gods this tour is well worth it.
I had a really great time on this tour! The pickup instructions were super clear and timing was great! The guide Lydia was amazing and gave lots of info on the way there, and the bus ride was super comfortable. I travelled to Greece alone and booked this because I was looking for safe transportation to and from Delphi and to be able to tour both the site and museum by myself, which is exactly what I got! I came specifically for Delphi so would have preferred more time into explore there than in Arachova, but definitely would not have seen Arachova if not for this tour so I did appreciate that. Delphi is a really special place!
Excellent guide and excellent organization! I only recommend mentioning a more precise meeting point (for the initial meeting).
It was a fantastic trip. Delphi is a must see while in Greece and our guide, Lydia, was knowledgeable and friendly. She gave amazing history and advice on where to eat and grab some great beer or wine. Her recommendation for lunch in Meliades Arachova was outstanding!
This tour was a really good way to see Delphi. More time in Delphi rather than Arachoba would be nice as its hard to see the site and rhe museum in just 2 hrs. Lydia is a great guide with lots of knowledge. However my main issue with this tour was that the length of time you are on the coach without a toilet break is inhumane. On the way there we were told 1 hr 30 into the journey there would be a break, it was more like 1 hr 50. On the way back there was no break and the traffic into Athens is shocking so the journey takes even longer on the way back. This is really poor of the tour company to not think this through and there were kids on our coach too, how can they be expected to wait 3 hrs? Not good.
