Itinerario
Iniziamo la mattina alle 09:30. Ci incontriamo nella piazza principale, Plaza de Armas, fuori Mcdonalds. Ci spostiamo a Santa Ana e facciamo una colazione veloce all'UMA Café alle 10:00. Dopo colazione, saliamo per la strada per una magnifica prospettiva unica dall'Arco di Santa Ana. Questo antico arco ha un punto di osservazione privilegiato per fotografare la città e quasi nessuno sa che puoi davvero andare in cima! Ci spostiamo nel mercato di San Pedro verso le 10.30. Conosciuto anche come il mercato centrale (Mercado Central), il mercato di San Pedro è uno dei luoghi più tradizionali e classici per fotografare a Cusco. Costruito dal famoso Gustave Eiffel nel 1925, questa posizione concentra i residenti quechua locali ed è solitamente più frequentata e più attraente al mattino. Entrare in questo mercato è un'esperienza diversa. Troverai di tutto, dalla frutta fresca e verdura, alle medicine naturali, alle persone che consumano un pasto vicino alle teste di mucca in vendita, a molti prodotti artigianali e un intero mondo di influenze quechua e colori sorprendenti. Alle 12:00 ci spostiamo in Plaza San Francisco e visitiamo la chiesa, il convento e le catacombe di San Francisco de Assis. La chiesa di San Francisco è una delle meraviglie più antiche e dimenticate della città. Visiteremo questo convento / chiesa ed esploreremo la sua storia e architettura. Esploreremo le catacombe sotterranee, la chiesa, l'area del coro con incredibili sedie di cedro intagliato e uno dei punti salienti: il Campanile, da cui si gode una vista impressionante sulla città. Visiteremo anche il patio esterno, progettato con superbi dettagli in stile coloniale spagnolo. Alle 13 c'è una fermata obbligatoria nella piazza principale (Plaza de Armas). Non c'è modo di sfuggire alla piazza principale. Si concentra così tanta storia sull'impero Inca! Esplora questa zona con un approccio più fotografico ma impara anche un po 'di storia di Cusco. Quindi ci spostiamo nel quartiere di San Blas e ci fermiamo per il pranzo nel mercato di San Blas. Il pranzo è veloce e semplice ma delizioso. Un salutare panino locale a scelta e succo di frutta fresca. Il mercato di San Blas è noto per un'atmosfera alternativa, opzioni di cibo sano e pochi turisti. Intorno alle 14:00 usciamo dal mercato ed esploriamo il quartiere di San Blas. Il quartiere più antico e più bello di Cusco. Conosciuta come la posizione in cui vivono tutti gli artisti in città. Questa zona ha alcune gemme nascoste che rendono incredibile la fotografia di strada e non molte persone ne sono a conoscenza. Ti porteremo lì lungo alcune fermate obbligatorie come il "Mirador de San Blas", dove potrai avere una fantastica panoramica della città. Verso le 15:00 abbiamo la possibilità di visitare una Chicheria locale e tradizionale, che serve la bevanda chicha a base di mais fermentato, questo è un posto molto locale e un modo perfetto per sperimentare un po 'della vera cultura locale, se non prendi la tua fantasia, abbiamo la possibilità di visitare un bar locale con la migliore vista a Cusco, qui possiamo rilassarci e bere un pisco sour mentre si domina l'intera città, te lo sei guadagnato! Anche questo tour è molto importante: i cambiamenti dinamici di Cusco ogni giorno! Quindi alcuni luoghi nelle sue strade non sono aperti tutti i giorni! Lasciamo questo come una sorpresa in quanto non è garantito. Ma passiamo sempre per i luoghi e se aperti entriamo per mostrarti alcune gemme nascoste di Cusco! Dita incrociate!

This is a great tour to take if you want to hone your photography skills and get to see different sides of Cusco. Noe is a great guide and a great photographer who will show you some great spots around Cusco, and at the same time give you pointers and tips. He is also easy to converse with and flexible with the plan based on how the day is going or your wishes.

I have written hundreds of reviews and believe in the power of feedback; I hope my review is helpful. We met up with our guide, Noe, in the lobby of our hotel. Noe was excellent from A to Z. He took us to some less touristy spots as well as some of the normal spots and helped us capture memorable pics. Noe is a local and helped us understand some of the history, culture and even foods the locals eat. This was our first full day in Cusco and it was a great way to orient us to the city. We even asked Noe to take us to a non-touristy, locals-only restaurant for lunch and that was very memorable and gave us an insight into everyday life for locals. I highly recommend this tour especially for those who want to make sure they come away with some great pics and memories. Bravo, Noe. ¡Gracias!

I recently did this tour with Dan. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend it. I was picked up from my hotel on time, went to the outskirts of the city, near the Christ statue, and then slowly walked down into the city. Dan knew all the best areas for picture taking, and provided excellent advise for camera angles, settings, perspectives. I used a DSLR camera as well as iphone.

I started off with a day tour with friends around Lima with Dan and had a lot of opportunities for awesome photos of wonderful vistas of Lima, and got some great photo tips :) Then I spent 4 days with Noe on photo tours based out of Cusco. We started with the Alternate Rainbow Mountain, which was amazing! Then we continued with getting outside the city and seeing some amazing landscapes and learning more about landscape photography. My favorite day was when we went to visit a local family up in the mountains and learned about portrait photography. Bernardino cooked us a wonderful lunch and his family was so welcoming! My favorite moment was when we all piled into the van and drove up to a scenic spot overlooking a lake, and we all just sat there and enjoyed each other’s company :) Bernardino’s son even let me try to play his recorder lol Noe is a great photographer and guide and was so patient with my friend and I, and by the end of the 4 days he had both of us shooting in manual..that’s quite a feat! I highly recommend Andean Photo Expeditions and would love to go back and take some more tours with them, especially to the Amazon!
