Curious Monkey Cusco- Eat the Streets, Walking Food Tour

Our food tour with Flor was outstanding! One of the highlights of our trip to Cusco. The food was great and Flor was very meticulous re hygiene and food safety. Would recommend without hesitation!

So I actually was super sick and could not go so my husband went without me. Not only did he come back having had a great time but the tour guide sent him back with chicken noodle soup for me and muna tea because I missed the tour. It was very kind and thoughtful! My husband stated it was great and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco!

Flor was an excellent guide! We learned so much and enjoyed every bite. The best part is that it was just the right amount of food and the walking was all nearby. A must do that f you come to Cusco.

Our guide, Joel, took us to 6 different places with good mix of street food, restaurants, and tiny shops. It was fun to stroll around town after dark with lights, shoppers, and music all around. In addition to the food, we learned a lot about the culture. It was a very festive and memorable evening !

Having taken many cooking classes over the years, the private class makes all the difference. It’s personalized and you participate in every step. I will not take another group class for cooking.

Sonia is a great guide. So much food! Be very hungry when you go. She found plenty of yummy food for the vegetarians in our group.

Had a great time with Sonia learning about and eating different Peruvian food and drinks. It was fun to walk around Cusco to find some of the hidden gems with tasty treats. We appreciated that she was able to accommodate our 2 vegetarians and 1 person who couldn’t eat red meat. Got to try so many delicious things but my favorite was the papa rellena. Yum! Thank you to Sonia for making it a fun and memorable experience. Would definitely recommend to other travelers visiting Cusco.

Flor was so knowledgable and really warm. We got to try a few different dishes we never would have ordered. A lovely way to spend an evening in Cusco.

We lucked out and were the only ones that booked our time slot! I don't want to spoil the stops for anyone going on the tour, but there's nothing TOO crazy or unusual. If you like meat and potatoes and sweets, you'll be very happy. Sonia was a delight, she was so happy and told us a lot about the food and the city and the people, and what life is like in Cusco. She had hand sanitizer and napkins, and even gave us an umbrella when it started raining! We were absolutely stuffed by the end, but it was a delicious journey.
