Having taken many cooking classes over the years, the private class makes all the difference. It’s personalized and you participate in every step. I will not take another group class for cooking.

Sonia is a great guide. So much food! Be very hungry when you go. She found plenty of yummy food for the vegetarians in our group.

Had a great time with Sonia learning about and eating different Peruvian food and drinks. It was fun to walk around Cusco to find some of the hidden gems with tasty treats. We appreciated that she was able to accommodate our 2 vegetarians and 1 person who couldn’t eat red meat. Got to try so many delicious things but my favorite was the papa rellena. Yum! Thank you to Sonia for making it a fun and memorable experience. Would definitely recommend to other travelers visiting Cusco.

We lucked out and were the only ones that booked our time slot! I don't want to spoil the stops for anyone going on the tour, but there's nothing TOO crazy or unusual. If you like meat and potatoes and sweets, you'll be very happy. Sonia was a delight, she was so happy and told us a lot about the food and the city and the people, and what life is like in Cusco. She had hand sanitizer and napkins, and even gave us an umbrella when it started raining! We were absolutely stuffed by the end, but it was a delicious journey.

Flor was an amazing guide. She took all precautions to ensure we had a comfortable, safe and enjoyable food tour to the most authentic spots. Flor was outstanding, she was prepared for any situation and made us feel so safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking to book a foodie tour in Cuzco, this is the one! Flor & Corinne were amazing—so friendly and incredibly informative. They took us to hidden gems and introduced us to fabulous local treats we never would have found or tried on our own. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic taste of the city!

Sonia was a great guide, showing us all of the best places that are easy to overlook amongst all of the options in the city. Learning about the blend of Incan and Colonial culture was very unique and eye opening. The street foods were awesome, flavors that speak to the Andean heritage, and the coffee shop was a true gem find. Would highly recommend joining the Curious Monkey Food Tours group, they have great guides that care about sharing their city with outsiders not just for the money but for sharing their culture with others.

Sonia was great! Liked this tour a lot. The best way to try local dishes. Got to go to some super cool local spots, food was 👌
