From picking my husband and I up from the airport to taking us on a tour of the countryside and beaches of western Curaçao, Danielle made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She has such a wealth of knowledge and a charismatic nature that kept us engaged during the trips. We could feel the passion that she had for her culture and the history of Curaçao. Sharing some laughs with her was also of course a plus! Thank you for teaching us a few words/phrases in papamientu and letting us know where to go for good local food. This was, without a doubt, one of the best tours I've ever taken. I came away with so many beautiful photos, but more importantly, I left with a much deeper understanding of the history of Curaçao. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to learn the authentic history of the places I visit, the beautiful parts as well as the painful ones. Dani presented Curaçao's history with honesty, balance, and respect. Rather than glossing over the difficult chapters, she shared them thoughtfully and factually, allowing me to truly understand the island's past and how it has shaped its present. It was an educational experience that gave me a profound appreciation for Curaçao, its people, and its resilience. I appreciated that the focus was on historical facts, presented with care, rather than a sanitized version of history. I will truly carry a piece of Curaçao with me long after I leave. This tour gave me a new perspective and made my visit so much more meaningful. I cannot recommend this service enough! When I arrived in Curaçao, I found out my sea turtle excursion had been canceled and was so disappointed because swimming with the turtles was one of the experiences I was most looking forward to on my trip. She completely turned the situation around. Not only did she help me find a solution, but she graciously allowed me to join another transport so I could still swim with the turtles, visit some of the island’s most beautiful beaches, including Groot Knip, and capture amazing photos along the way. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. She even provided snorkel gear and shared so much information about the island that I never would have learned otherwise. Her positive energy and genuine kindness made me feel so welcome as a solo traveler. What started as a major disappointment ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I am so grateful for her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting Curaçao!

If you do one activity while visiting Curaçao you should take a tour with Dani! We visited for our baby moon and it was a priority for us to get off the resort and get a feel for the city. She took us to see all the sites and personalized the tour based on things we were interested in. We left feeling like a friend and a local. We have been to 5 Caribbean islands and this is the best activity we have ever done hands down! 10/10 would book again. The only regret we had was not booking the full day tour so we could see the other side of the island.

Truly a customized tour! We told Dani we were especially interested in history, murals, culture and art as part of our city tour. We also wanted to visit the Chichi store, buy a couple souvenir shirts and buy Curacao liqueur (but skip the distillery tour). We told her what we'd already seen on our own and she adjusted our highlights. Dani delivered on every request! We were chauffeured around safely in air conditioned comfort. Dani quickly figured out how nerdy we are and was so gracious answering ALL our non-stop questions. She took us to the salt flats and flamingoes which we forgot to request but she knew we'd be sad to miss. We learned about Curacao's culture, history, language, healthcare, government, education, natural beauty, tourism, flora and fauna, restaurants, and economy. Dani also made sure we captured it all in photos. We saw everything on the city tour package and so much more! The time flew by! Where do I start…I met Dani from a post on social media and it was the best thing that could’ve happened for me on a solo trip. She consistently went above and beyond without ever asking. She was so knowledgeable of Curacao. Aside from the beautiful scenery, Dani made me fall in love with Curacao’s history and culture because you can see her passion for her island! One would do a disservice by not having her as your tour guide!! She was amazing!!!!

Dani is an AWESOME tour guide!! We had an amazing and fascinating 1/2 day tour of Curacao and loved it! Dani is very friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and just great in every way. Dani was absolutely amazing! We reached out for a very last-minute private tour (not recommended, but she made it happen!), and within an hour she had a full itinerary planned that worked perfectly for both the adults and kids in our group. She picked us up in a clean, comfortable vehicle with waters ready to go, and from the start her knowledge and love for Curaçao truly stood out. We kicked off our vacation with an amazing private island tour with Explore Curaçao by Dani- Creating Memories, and it truly set the tone for our trip! Dani shared so much knowledge about the island, and you can tell how passionate she is about what she does. We saw flamingos in their natural habitat, explored Hato Caves (which was such a cool surprise being above ground!), and got to experience Curaçao through a local’s perspective—which made everything feel so much more authentic. She also gave us so many great recommendations for things to do on our own, which made the rest of our trip even better. We’re so grateful for such a memorable experience and can’t recommend her enough! 🩵

Dani was an incredible guide and host. From the time we connected before our arrival, to our airport transfers, to our various island transfers, and our full day tour. She provided an insider experience far beyond our expectations. She provided restaurant recommendations and even made our reservations.
