Partiamo da Invergordon e facciamo un viaggio verso la nostra prima tappa, Clava Cairns, una collezione di misteriosi cairn sepolcrali in pietra di oltre 4.000 anni. Lo splendido scenario delle montagne aggiunge un inizio unico e memorabile alla tua escursione. Poi sul campo di battaglia di Culloden, il luogo della tragica fine della ribellione giacobita del 1746. Un’esperienza profondamente commovente che riporta in vita la storia scozzese. C'è un biglietto d'ingresso per le mostre all'interno del centro visitatori, tuttavia, è possibile percorrere il campo di battaglia gratuitamente. La nostra prossima tappa è Cawdor Castle che mette in mostra camere splendidamente tenute piene di tesori storici di famiglia, mobili antichi e opere d'arte. I giardini circostanti offrono vivaci spettacoli stagionali e passeggiate serene. Godetevi il pranzo post-visita nella caffetteria del castello. La nostra destinazione finale è Inverness, la capitale delle Highlands. Goditi una piacevole passeggiata, scopri i negozi locali o semplicemente goditi il fascino vibrante di questo hub delle Highlands. Si riprenderà quindi il breve viaggio di ritorno al porto.

Esplora i cairn sepolcrali di 4000 anni fa, situati in una posizione tranquilla sugli altopiani. Ottieni una visione della vita di alcuni dei primi abitanti della Scozia.
Visita il sito della famigerata battaglia del 1746 tra le Giubbe Rosse e i Giacobiti - l'ultimo luogo di riposo per migliaia di soldati. Camminare sul campo di battaglia è gratuito (con un costo di ingresso richiesto per il centro visitatori.)

Andy met us at the dock when we got off the Princess Cruise ship. He was friendly and knowledgeable- an excellent guide. The small group van was clean and perfect for us instead of riding in a huge 40 seat van with lots of people. the sites were amazing and the perfect Summertime weather also made this one of the best tours ever!

Graham was fantastic! We lucked out and had the tour all to ourselves. We got to see all the sights promised on the tour plus LochNess and some highland cows, which was a such a treat! We can’t thank our tour guide enough for giving us such a great day!
