Descrizione

Chef Adhey Andrade and her husband Enrique felt like family by the end of this cooking class! We cooked delicious food together, shared stories and genuinely had the best time! I would 10000% recommend this class. It’s authentic and an absolute blast :)

Wonderful experience

This 100% hands-on cooking class is an absolute must-do in Centro, Oaxaca. You will learn the secrets to roasting and peeling poblano peppers, mastering the perfect fluffy egg batter, and crafting authentic, stone-ground salsas. It is the perfect blend of cultural immersion and culinary education.

10/10 Oaxaca cooking class

Chef Adhey and Enrique made the entire experience very enjoyable. From the moment enrique picked us up from the meeting point until the end, he was entertaining. Chef Adhey also explained to us Oaxacan tradition and told us about her abuelitas and their recipe. The cooking process was fun and Chef Adhey made us cook on our own which was exactly what we wanted. On top of that, Enrique made sure we had more than enough drinks throughout the experience. In the end we all sat together and ate the food we cooked, it was very nice to sit together with oaxacans at their home. Highly recommended.

The BEST!

This cooking class experience was amazing! Adhey, Enrique and family welcomed us into their home with open arms and genuine smiles. We were fortunate enough to be the only 3 people in attendance so we were treated to personal hospitality, delicious food and a fun evening! Learning to cook the dishes was only one part of the night - Adhey and Enrique were so interested in hearing about us (New Zealand culture) and created a wonderful experience we won’t soon forget. Gracias!

Amazing oaxcan cooking experience

The cooking experience with chef Adhey and Enrique was amazing! They teach you to make a range of different Mexican cuisines that are not only delicious but useful in cooking back home. We also tasted different fruits and traditional Oaxacan chocolate along with plenty of cerveza and mezcal. This experience was everything we were looking for as Enrique and Adhey were so nice and welcoming. Their cooking class is well worth the price!

THE BEST and most authentic experience in Oaxaca

We had such an incredible time at Adhey’s cooking class yesterday- the best day we’ve had in Mexico so far. You get to make and try a variety of delicious dishes including salsas, guacamole and a chicken dish. In addition to the food itself it was lovely spending time with Adhey and her wonderful family and finding out more about Oaxacan culture. The drinks were flowing and we had a really fun time meeting other travellers from across the globe. For a truly authentic experience I can’t recommend this highly enough.
