Had a blast cooking traditional Vietnamese food! The owner was lovely. I really enjoyed the variety of dishes I was able to create plus the dessert. Well worth it if you looking for traditional and authentic style food.
Delicious food. Very good English by our host. Wonderful to learn how the ingredients interact and the importance of preparation. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Eva and Kelsy.
I am so glad I chose this cooking class, and I would recommend it to anyone else looking for one! From the very beginning, Eva was very accommodating of my vegetarian diet, being very mindful to ensure vegetarian substitutes for not only the entrees but also things like the fish sauce. She led me through the market and taught me how to select the best ingredients. As for the actual cooking portion, all of the recipes she taught me were incredibly delicious and will be going into my meal rotation back at home. I'm so excited to make all these dishes for my friends and family! We made sizzling pancakes, stuffed tofu, stuffed fried rice, and egg coffee. I had a few extra mangoes I happened to bring, and she even helped me make a mango smoothie that was also really good, which I thought went above and beyond! She also shared the recipes with me afterwards so I can use them at home. Throughout the class, Eva was really fun to talk with and learn from. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a fun, delicious cultural experience that they can bring back home with them!
Favourite experience in my whole Vietnam trip! Eva was a fantastic guide and I learned so much about Vietnamese cooking, culture, lifestyle, attitudes and local colloquialisms during my cooking class. I really wanted to learn how to make beef pho and wanted a cooking class that included this dish. I was so surprised to have a choice out of 3 four-course meals to choose from (each based on a general region of Vietnam) so you’ll be sure to cook a menu with your favourite dish to learn! Although I don’t drink coffee, I have always been curious to experience the famous egg coffee and without any hesitation Eva asked if I wanted to adapt the menu to an egg cocoa instead. I was so pleased to finally know what the hype is about!!! Throughout the cooking class Eva guided me to allow as much hands-on as possible so that I cooked most of my meal but I am slow in the kitchen; I noticed that she would subtly help me chop some garlic or complete some minor prep tasks so that I wouldn’t fall behind. The timing of when the four dishes were ready was perfect. The market tour was eye-opening and I especially loved learning about all the fresh herbs that you’d commonly see in Vietnamese cuisine. Eva communicated promptly even though I booked the night before, made sure I could find the meet-up point, had perfect English and is funny, cute and charismatic at the same time. Easily the loveliest 4 hours spent making a new friend, thank you for your time and guidance Eva!
From start to finish, everything was well organized, welcoming, and so much fun. The flavors were incredible, and it was so rewarding to sit down at the end and enjoy a meal we had cooked ourselves. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves Vietnamese food or wants to learn something new!
Holy Pho I’ve just learned how to make Pho from one of the best! If you like a small intimate cooking class that is as authentic as it is delicious then this class is for you.
We booked this class last minute and are so glad we did! Small Eva and Kelsey met up right on time and guided us through the rush hour scooter ballet as we shopped at market stalls along narrow streets. We learned so much about Vietnamese culture and food during the cooking class with Eva's patient can-do guidance. In addition to the delicious food, we made genuine connections and had fantastic conversations about culture, language, and lots of other things. Thank you so much Eva! <3
Thank you so much Eva for the wonderful class. I had the best time attending your cooking class! I highly recommend it. She’s a wonderful teacher, she answers all your questions and the food is delicious.
The cooking class was such a lovely experience. All the food was absolutely delicious and Eva was such an amazing teacher. We were given many tips and tricks as well as our own take home cook books filled with many local Vietnamese recipies. Definitely recommend coming and making your own Vietnamese foods yourself!
This was such a fun and rewarding experience with my family! Eva was such a wonderful host who took us through the markets and guided us with joy in every part of the cooking journey! All the food was delicious (with a complimentary recipe book at the end) Would recommend for all!
