Tunnel sotterranei di Cu Chi: Situato a 60 km da Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi è ora considerato un quartiere eroico per il suo ruolo durante la guerra americana in Vietnam. Esperienza di tiro (autosufficiente) e offerta gratuita per la specialità di Cu Chi - Il poligono di tiro consente di testare armi reali una volta utilizzate durante la guerra del Vietnam, tra cui l'AK-47, M16, e carabina. Questa non è solo un'opportunità per conoscere la storia militare, ma anche per ottenere un senso realistico di ciò che è accaduto durante la guerra. - L'area è rigorosamente gestita per garantire la sicurezza di tutti. Booked tour with small group, turned out I had a private guide. Leo showed me around real good, was knowlegeable and attentive. Really liked the experience and I qould recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was informative and very interesting to learn about the war and how those of that time survived underground. We enjoyed a nice stop at the art gallery along the way. Thank you to our guide Ha. If we were to be critical, we didn’t realise a half-day tour went until 7pm

Regarding the timing, as your tour was in the afternoon and the distance between Cu Chi and Ho Chi Minh City is quite far, the return time can vary depending on traffic conditions, so it may sometimes be later than expected. It is a great tour, essential for those who visit Vietnam. The guide was excellent, had plenty of knowledge, recorded videos and it was all very fun. My only observation is that it is NOT a 4-hour walk. It's a whole day walk. I saw other full-day tours, but had chosen this in particular for saying that it was 4h, but this information does not proceed (there is time to pick the tourists in their hotels, pick the road, pause on the way...) Go in time and have fun!

However, the travel distance from District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi and back takes almost half a day (around 1.5 hours each way). Therefore, we can totally understand why you may feel the duration is quite long. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the tour, and we truly appreciate your comments. Great experience and value for money! Everything was according to the description, pick up from our hotel in district 1, stop along the route to a workshop of paintings, then the tunnels with the guide speaking good English and well prepared to answer all our questions. Overall all was smooth and a good use of our time and money.
