I tunnel di Cu Chi nella città di Ho Chi Minh Per essere protette dall'occupazione francese negli anni '40, le truppe comuniste della guerriglia conosciute come Viet Cong scavarono decine di migliaia di chilometri di tunnel a mani nude e strumenti semplici e si espansero ulteriormente durante la guerra americana negli anni '60. Situati 75 chilometri a nord-ovest della città di Ho Chi Minh, i tunnel di Cu Chi sono un'elaborata rete sotterranea composta da 250 km di tunnel e camere nella città di Cu Chi. Questa enorme rete di tunnel sotterranei in Viet Nam è stata preservata dal governo del Viet Nam ed è diventata una popolare attrazione turistica.
