Questa attività esclusiva è stata progettata appositamente per i passeggeri delle navi da crociera che sbarcano a Ponta Delgada. La tua esperienza inizia con una visita alla piantagione di ananas di Santo António, dove potrai esplorare le serre, scoprire il processo di coltivazione tradizionale e assaggiare ananas fresco e liquore locale all'ananas. Successivamente, un'escursione al pittoresco vulcano Sete Cidades, per ammirare viste mozzafiato fino al punto panoramico Vista do Rei. Rimarrete stupiti dal contrasto spettacolare tra il Lago Blu e il Lago Verde, situati all'interno di un cratere vulcanico dormiente: uno spettacolo davvero affascinante e perfetto per le fotografie. Successivamente faremo una sosta nel centro di Sete Cidades, dedicando del tempo alla visita della chiesa neogotica di São Nicolau e alla scoperta del fascino di questa comunità storica. Prima di tornare a Ponta Delgada, il tour prevede una sosta al punto panoramico di Escalvado, situato su una splendida costa lavica.

Considerata una delle sette meraviglie del Portogallo, questo è un belvedere dove si intravedono le più famose lagune delle Azzorre. La laguna blu e verde è senza dubbio un luogo unico e magico.
All'interno del vulcano Sete Cidades avrete la possibilità di esplorare le attrazioni di questo luogo come i punti panoramici, il centro parrocchiale, fare una pausa caffè, visitare la chiesa di São Nicolau o passeggiare lungo il bordo della Laguna Blu.
Punto panoramico in quota sulla costa da dove si possono ammirare le enormi scogliere e le rocce nere degli isolani dei monasteri. Questo sarà l'ultimo punto prima di tornare a Ponta Delgada.
Il ritorno a Ponta Delgada dura circa 30 minuti e i viaggiatori possono scegliere se alloggiare in centro città o al terminal crociere.

Was disappointed as we didn’t get to taste the pineapple or the liquor!
The island is beautiful. Your guide was well versed in the happenings on the island and lifestyle. With that being said, he knew the best places to stop for optimal views of this beautiful place. The tour gave us a good overview of the island and ended at the pineapple “plantation”. The only negative is he went on a tangent about how expensive things are and how tough life can be there. That is everywhere right now and not a highlight of the tour.
We were on a cruise and were asked to meet the tour provider at the terminal. Our tickets stated that we should be there for 9am start. There were 8 of us on a small group tour. We waited in the cruise terminal. The last couple turned up just before 9am and the tour provider said she’d have to cut the tour short as we should have been there for 8.30am. We therefore had to miss the pineapple plantation because she said we had to get back 2 hours before the ship departed. We did however get to see the lakes in the sunshine and were blessed with a rainbow which was the icing on the cake. I would recommend this trip but can I suggest you liaise with cruise travellers the night beforehand and change the time accordingly so they receive the 4 full hours they have paid for.
What a great tour of the lakes and volcanoes. Bruno the tour guide and Paula the driver were both quality people that offered a very special tour experience.
