This tour company sent a rather stern email before the tour indicating the importance or arriving at least 15 minutes before departure. On arrival, a long line of people was kept waiting until 5 minutes before departure- not allowed- to board because the staff was vacuuming the boat. The scenery is great. Staff very unfriendly.
Hi Michael, thank you for your review, but I must clarify a couple of things. Your note saying 'nasty email' just isn't true, as all guests will know as they all receive it, it simply gives directions and asks you to be there for boarding 15mins prior to departure. You can choose to arrive later, but you take the risk of not arriving in time for departure and missing your cruise. I also disagree with your note saying 'kept waiting until 5 mins before departure'', as the first guest was checked in at 12.19pm and the last guest checked in at 12.23pm. With everyone onboard, the cruise actually departed a little early. We take great pride in offering guests a clean and comfortable cruise, so a quick clean between all cruises is a must. Our staff are wonderful and we get so many positive comments on their friendliness and hospitality (see below reviews). I feel your 2 star review very unfair, simply because you had to wait in line?? I wish you well

Nice way to learn about the city. The other passengers were playing loud videos on their phones though so I had to strain to hear the commentary. I initially booked on the lunch package but it didn't go through for some reason so I missed out and went on the shorter trip.

Our 12:30pm cruises have been running at around half capacity lately, so there were definitely quieter areas available on all levels. Our crew are always happy to help with situations like this, so please feel free to let us know onboard. Regarding the booking: the 12:30pm departure is our 90‑minute Afternoon Tea Cruise, which doesn’t include a lunch option. Lunch is only included on the separate 3.5‑hour Cruise to Lunch Package at the Breakfast Creek Hotel, departing at 10:30am. If you’re on the 12:30pm cruise and feel you missed out on a meal during the booking process, the Plough Inn lunch add‑on can be added at any time—including while onboard by asking the crew. It’s $35 and includes a meal and a drink. We understand it’s disappointing when the option you hoped for doesn’t go through, and we’re always here to help if anything looks unclear during booking. We’d love to welcome you back for the full lunch experience next time.
It was a nice tour. The refreshments were tasty. There was plenty of space and it was easy to here the commentary

This cruise was informative. The snacks were tasty. You can purchase drinks on the boat. The narration is good, but they repeat the same song over and over. It gets old.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon navigating the river and learning about Brisbane’s rich history. You can use the water transport, but you miss out on the great commentary. With just a short stay it helped us to focus our time after disembarking.
