La tua esperienza inizia incontrandoci nel nostro punto d'incontro a Puerto Natales. Successivamente, inizieremo a salire a bordo della nostra navigazione per incontrare incredibili paesaggi della Patagonia, ghiacciai, fiordi e una straordinaria fauna selvatica che possiamo apprezzare durante il nostro viaggio ai ghiacciai Balmaceda e Serrano. Sali a bordo della barca e inizia la tua crociera verso nord-ovest attraverso il fiordo di Ultima Esperanza, o "fiordo della speranza finale", un'insenatura che collega il fiordo di Eberhard e il monte Balmaceda. Il fiordo è stato nominato dall'esploratore spagnolo Juan Ladrillero, che sperava che attraversando il suono lo avrebbe portato allo Stretto di Magellano. Invece è arrivato per trovare pareti di ghiaccio a strapiombo che gli bloccavano la strada.
Oggi, il tuo capitano è al timone per tre ore per raggiungere gli stessi ghiacciai che hanno ostacolato Ladrillero. Goditi una tazza di caffè, tè o succo sul ponte. Per qualcosa con un calcio in più, sorseggia un bicchiere di whisky o pisco sour mescolato con ghiaccio rotto dal ghiacciaio di Serrano. Passa tra foreste e cascate che si gettano giù per le verdi colline, e scruta il cielo in cerca di condor. Mentre la barca abbraccia la costa, avvista dozzine di cormorani su affioramenti rocciosi che potrebbero allargare le loro ali o allungare i loro magri colli aggraziati a una colonna sonora di anatre e oche che strillavano nelle vicinanze. Gli elefanti marini possono persino uscire dalle caverne per rilassarsi sotto il sole. Quando raggiungi la parete orientale del Monte Balmaceda, a 2.766 piedi (2.035 metri), vedi le nebbie che turbinano intorno alla cima ricoperta di ghiaccio. Sbarco per una facile escursione di un'ora attraverso le foreste del Parco Nazionale di Bernardo O'Higgins. Seguite la vostra guida per trascurare pochi passi dal ghiacciaio di Serrano - un ampio fiume ghiacciato che precipita giù da una fessura tra le colline. Prosegui poi verso il lato occidentale del Monte Balmaceda e ammira le viste sul massiccio ghiacciaio sospeso. Qui, zaffiri e tinte turchesi dileguano il terreno roccioso e finiscono in un lago.
Infine, dopo esserti lasciato meravigliare dagli incredibili ghiacciai antichi e dagli splendidi paesaggi della Patagonia, sali a bordo della tua barca per un rapido viaggio di ritorno di 90 minuti a Puerto Natales. Godetevi i paesaggi durante il vostro viaggio di ritorno! Quando arriviamo al porto, prenderai l'autobus o il minivan che ti lascerà direttamente al nostro ufficio di Puerto Natales.

It was great experience. The glacier is beautiful, tiny but cute. The floating ices are amazing. Food was good too. Staff were nice 👍

The boat had over 100 customers plus the crew. Interior seating has tables of six with two windows rows and a center row. There is no room to store a daypack. The small deck space becomes crowded and has little overhanging protection from the rain. It did rain which is not unusual for this region. You will need some luck to get an unobstructed view. The crew is pleasant and accommodating. The catamaran stopped at a nice facility for a good lunch with very competent service. The cruise was scenic but the glaciers seem small if you have been to Alaska. Took a van tour through Torres del Paines the day before which was more wow, comfortable, and a better value.

Best tour in Puerto Natales! Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers are more beautiful than any of the other glaciers in the area and can only be accessed via boat. The boat is very comfortable with great service. Includes a very scenic hike to Serrano Glacier and excellent lunch at a local ranch.

This was a wonderful experience, cruising in comfort with opportunities to admire elephant seals sunning themselves on rock ledges, a colony of cormorants, and of course spectacular waterfalls and stunning glaciers. A walk through beautiful forest to the Serrano Glacier was the highlight, followed by a delicious three course meal at Estancia Perales. The crew were helpful and professional and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the day from beginning to end.
The scenery was magnificent, we were speechless. Tasty genuine lunch with a three course meal highly recommended.
It was worth it , the ship was in good conditions, I expected to be able to reach and walk in the glaciar but since it has reatreated we couldn´t get that cloese but the experience was good and the food in lunch was good

While the glaciers were cool to see, and no specific complaints about the overall experience, it was definitely overpriced for what we got. Having ~100 people on a boat that offered one snack, a decent lunch (that took a long time), and tea/coffee did not seem worth the high price tag (and we never even got our pisco sour!) The crew were very professional and helpful, but the low rating is due to it being overpriced.
