Cruise was delightful, tours were superb. King Minah our tour guide was the best and very knowledgeable and understanding to our needs and wants. I would highly recommend booking him next time round.
Overall the holiday was great. The cruise was sufficient the staff were very polite and efficient. The best part however was the tour guide who we spent the most time with, which was Mina. Mina was very polite and outgoing to which helped make our experience much more enjoyable. He did his utmost to help us whenever we needed it for instance when we tried to book my student tickets online he sat next to me and made sure i did it properly. He also catered to my younger brothers needs who has autism.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you had a great holiday and enjoyed your Nile Cruise experience. It is especially rewarding to know that Mina made such a positive impact on your trip. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to him. Providing personalized care and support to our guests is very important to us, and we are pleased that Mina was able to assist with your student tickets and help ensure your brother was comfortable throughout the tour. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back to Egypt again in the future.
The Nile cruise was amazing, the actual boat was not as good as we thought, food selection, pool was a little underwhelming. Admission fees for children with hidden disabilities should be introduced. Some of the temples let our son go in free but others made it difficult and was asked to pay, our guide (king Mina) was absolutely outstanding, went out of his way more than once, fought for our son when we felt mistreated. He explained temples in great detail, kept us intrigued and engaged on every single tour. Mina gave us the liberty that we needed and more. Without this particular guide ( King Mina) our visit would have been half as good.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Nile Cruise and that King Mina made such a positive difference to your experience. His dedication, knowledge, and care for your family—especially your son—are exactly what we strive for, and we will be sure to share your kind words with him. We also appreciate your comments about the cruise facilities and will share them with our cruise partners. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Egypt in the future!
Very bad experience. The cruise was very good, a 10. But the chosen tour was a terrible experience. It is true that they take you to see all the main sights as indicated, but like any other similar tour. Now, the difference with the rest is the guide, named MINA. The explanations were very poor and short, the visits to the temples were very brief, nothing compared to the time indicated that they would be, some even an hour and a half less than what was stipulated when booking this tour, like the temple of EDFU, and forget about the horse-drawn carriage ride, they force you into a bus. There is no time to see anything calmly, apart from the fact that the guide does not explain anything, you observe other guides with their groups explaining everything in detail, but ours prefers to go to the café to wait for you. To make matters worse, even on the last day, the guide, indicating that it is hot, gives the explanations in the van and does not accompany you to the temples. Additionally, they force you to go to craft shops that are not on the tour, wasting visiting time at the temples, with no option to say no, even though no one in the group wanted to go. Then there is the issue of the hot air balloon, the company publishes it knowing that they are canceled for three months by the Egyptian government and it is extremely difficult to get your money back. Thanks to Viator, we managed to do it. So it is better to choose another tour or at least request not to get the guide we had.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the Nile Cruise itself, but we're truly sorry that the guided tour did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the guide, the itinerary, and the shopping stops have been taken seriously and will be investigated with our local team. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the hot air balloon cancellation and refund process. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience we provide to future travelers.
We had the best guide we could have asked for during our two days in Luxor. From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt’s history and culture. He made every visit fascinating by explaining the historical details in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made our experience truly special. He was also very organized, making sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably. What stood out the most was how much he genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Thanks to him, our time in Luxor was unforgettable, and we learned so much while enjoying every moment. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Luxor. If you want an exceptional experience, he is definitely the guide to choose!

I had 6 different guides for different parts of Egypt and Carlos is definitely the best one I had. So patient and knowledgeable — plus, he’d help you haggle with the merchants if you ask. 100% recommended

Carlos was absolutely amazing and kind, so accommodating, helps you also negotiate better prices at some of the shops and really immerses you in the history as you view it

Our guide Mina was excellent — good with time management, keeping the group connected, and making the experience enjoyable overall. He is a very social, friendly, and kind person. The timeline did feel rushed. Expect wake-up calls as early as 4:00 AM. Budget accordingly: as of June 2026, admission fees run about 4,900 EGP, plus $10 USD/day for crew tips, plus a separate tip for your guide if desired. A few annoyances: some stops turned into sales pitches at local shops. On the ship, water is 120 LE per 1.5L bottle, laundry is expensive, and you’ll get approached onboard and pestered to buy massages and souvenirs. The food is okay, but isn’t anything impressive. Overall it was a great experience, just go in with realistic expectations.

Beautiful cruise with varied and good food. Excellent guide and incredible visits. However, the boat could use a little love as it is outdated compared to the others. Clearly not a 5-star experience. Also, the hot air balloon ride did not take place. Very disappointing. We were told that there are no hot air balloons in June, July, and August because it is too hot. So we paid for nothing for the tour. Very disappointing.
Hello Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the food, the guide, and the visits during your cruise. We are sorry to hear that the boat did not fully meet your expectations and that the hot air balloon activity was disappointing. Balloon rides depend on weather conditions and may be unavailable in summer for safety reasons, but we understand your frustration and will review how this is communicated. We appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you again for a better experience. Warm Regards
