We left in November 2025 for this 4-day Nile cruise and the least we can say is that our experience was far from promising. Already, 48 hours before boarding the boat, the organization contacted us via Wattsapp to tell us that we would have to pay an extra $200 per person as soon as we arrived (cash of course). We were free to cancel our cruise if we did not wish to pay. Having had trouble finding a cruise that offered guided tours with Francophone guides and already traveling, we maintained our reservation and paid. Unfortunately, the guides were not Francophone at all. Every day we were promised that we would have a Francophone guide the next day, a lie. The boat did not match the one in the picture (it was a huge old boat and really outdated), almost empty (we were less than 30 on a boat planned for 200 people), the food was hearty but quite average (and made us very sick), the whole organization was deplorable (no communication about the visits, and as we were the only ones on the boat to have booked this cruise we never knew what to expect, multiple speakers (guides, drivers...). When we returned, we wrote to tripadvisor to tell about this experience, they forwarded to Viator who immediately replied that they would not refund us (we had not asked for anything) and that they would do nothing. You should also know that a cruise in Egypt is quite special: dozens of big boats do exactly the same circuit, leave together, dock against each other and everyone visits the temples at the same time (with rises between 3am and 5am...), and quickly (usually 1h max), the rush is huge. Too bad, we were delighted with this cruise, which still allowed us to see fabulous places, but the experience was really spoiled by this organization.

It’s a bitter sweet experience. Ill state the cruise and the tours are different entities and have nothing to do with eachother Let’s start from the good. The cruise was really nice, we had a nice room, AC worked perfectly, anything we needed was served. Mohammed in the front desk was an angel and truly the best. Food was nice and the boat work perfectly Now for the not so good or bad part The tours are extremly disorganised. We were always the last to be picked up for tours. In the temples we were the ones with the shortest explanations and we barely ever got contacted by our tour guide previous to our tour. One day even our tour guide didn’t show up and we had to do double the tours the next day. We also had a problem with Viator on things they said our package included and the tour company said it did not I give it a 3,5/5 experience, with the best parts being the cruise and the people we met (don’t get me wrong, the archeological sites are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, but having such poor preparation does take a lot out of the price you are paying)

I hired this cruise especially because I had guides in Spanish and most of the group did not speak English and 3 of the 5 guides did not speak Spanish. The cruise facilities are comfortable and clean, I think the staff lacks preparation. Another point against it is that 2 people were talking to me about the agency and I never knew who the manager was and they were also not clear with the schedules of the itineraries from the first day. We had to ask or find out the day before.
