Overall a good experience, friendly service on time. However the audio and the earplugs were of really poor quality. i have done this trip many times it was much better qualitatively when the audio played out without having to use the earplugs, earplugs though very convenient unfortunately the quality is very poor.
Purchased the 24 hour hop on/hop off bus and canal package. From the moment we started dealing with this company it was upselling and tip pandering. We came to Europe to get away from this type of nonsense and so far it is the first and only company to employ these tactics. From the moment we purchased tickets, they tried to sell us a more expensive package. When you got onto the boat or bus the audio guide were filled with Ads of local companies they were trying to push you to. It was not always easy to find the drop on/drop off locations for both the buses and the boats and one boat we were on you could not take pictures because the windows were not clear enough. There was so much upselling going on with this company I had to check to see if it was American owned but it isn't.

Fairly average cruise for an hour, but still good to do to see some of the sights from the boat. It rained heavily on and off and when the roof was closed it was like sitting in a greenhouse. The tour guide was curt but friendly. Would try a different, smaller boat next time for a better experience. Amsterdam is a lovely city so you can't really go wrong.

We had a wonderful boat trip with Captain Willem. From the first moment, he created a relaxed and cozy atmosphere on board. Besides the audio guide, Willem told fun anecdotes and interesting stories about the history of Amsterdam during the journey. You notice that he has a lot of knowledge and that he knows how to convey it in an enthusiastic way. While the city is wonderful for shopping and things to see and do i feel its let down by having no toilets around the square. The queues in mac Donald's were ridiculous and having to pay £1 each time was infuriating. I feel that if you want tourists then have public amenities its a basic at the very least.

Very good canal trip lasting an hour, the onboard narration through headphones was set at a really good speed, with the driver giving extra info on other places. The boats have toilets, perfect for little kids who just can’t hold it ;-) Over all a great trip and would do it a third time
