REGULIERSGRACHT (7 PONTI): vista monumentale - L'unico punto dei canali di Amsterdam dove si possono vedere sette ponti uno dopo l'altro in un'unica vista
Rispetto agli altri canali, il Prinsengracht è un canale relativamente modesto. Mentre Herengracht fu costruito e progettato per l'alta borghesia di Amsterdam, Prinsengracht fu progettato come un canale di transizione tra la ricca cintura dei canali e i quartieri operai (Jordaan) che li circondavano. Lo si vede anche nelle case del Prinsengracht, che sono molto più 'sobrie' rispetto agli altri canali: meno larghe e con meno decorazioni che sugli altri canali.
MAGERE BRUG "SKINNY BRIDGE" è il più antico ponte levatoio ancora funzionante, in parte in legno, di Amsterdam ed è un monumento nazionale. Il Ponte Magro fu costruito nel XVII secolo. A quel tempo, il consiglio comunale era un po' a corto di soldi, quindi decisero di non costruire un ponte esorbitante, ma uno economico (legno invece che pietra) e stretto ("magro"). Il ponte era così stretto che le persone difficilmente potevano incrociarsi, oppure dovevano essere molto magre. L'attuale ponte risale al 1934. Il traffico automobilistico non è consentito attraversarlo dal 2003. Lo Skinny Bridge è il ponte più famoso di Amsterdam e l'ambientazione di molti film (tra cui James Bond).
Il MUSEO DELL'HERMITAGE si trova nell'Amstelhof. L'edificio risale al 1681 e originariamente era una casa di cura (per 300 anni). Nel 2007 la casa di cura è stata trasformata in museo. Alcune stanze sono state mantenute e restaurate. Il museo dell'Ermitage è una dependance dell'Ermitage di San Pietroburgo, in Russia, e condivide parte della sua collezione d'arte con quella russa. Insieme, i due Eremi possiedono la più grande collezione d'arte del mondo.
BLAUWBRUG “BLUE BRIDGE” deve il suo nome al suo predecessore: un ponte levatoio come lo Skinny Bridge, ma con ringhiere blu. L'attuale Blauwbrug risale al 1883 e si ispira al Pont Neuf di Parigi. A causa dell'Esposizione Mondiale di Amsterdam del 1883, era necessario un nuovo ponte dall'aspetto imponente. Le corone in cima al ponte sono "corone imperiali" e sono le stesse corone di quelle sulla Westerkerk e sullo stemma della città. La corona è la corona imperiale del Sacro Romano Impero, donata dall'imperatore Massimiliano I nel 1489 come ringraziamento per il sostegno finanziario di Amsterdam. La corona dell'imperatore è la prova che anche il grande imperatore raccomandò Amsterdam, e quindi molto importante per il commercio.

The bout Was terrible. No cover, no tabels, no bences. chees was put on a littel tabel. Worst experiense I ve had . You should be ashamed .

We were surprised by your review, as no concerns were raised with our skipper or host during or after the cruise. Had we known that you were dissatisfied, we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss it with you on the spot and see whether we could have improved your experience. On the day of your cruise, we deliberately operated the Cheese & Wine Cruise on one of our open boats because the weather forecast was excellent. Every booking was provided with its own private table, from which the cheese and wine were served throughout the cruise. Our open boats are configured differently from our salon boats, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed views while still having their own dedicated table for the tasting experience. We also recognise that preferences differ. While many guests on board that day told our crew they had thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we fully respect that it did not meet your personal expectations. That said, we were disappointed to receive a 1-star review without having had the opportunity to address your concerns during the cruise. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best with your future travels.
Onno was a great guide and welcome to Amsterdam. The cheese, wine and grapes were great and the conversation informative and friendly. We ended up with a private tour and it was great!

Best way to see Amsterdam. Especially at sunset. We were a little early and we were lucky. The girl told us some places to go and see very friendly people.

We booked this experience assuming the other passengers had booked the same. However, we were the only passengers on board having the wine and cheese, and everyone else was just staring at us. Some of the other passengers made a joke of it and even poured our wine for us, but it was just a very odd experience.
We had a bad experience from the start the put us on a small boat with a lot of people. We couldn’t hear the tour director. We were the only one served with wine and cheese since we booked that way. We felt very uncomfortable having that since no one was having. We thought we were going to be part of the group who had the same thing. We felt very uncomfortable having it. I am asking for a refund.
We were fortunate that we were the only couple in the boat. Floris and Robbie were delightful, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had lots of laughter and highflying recommend the experience. One of our best experiences so far. Thank you!!
