What a great way to see the best of Sydney from the sea and enjoy top class food at the same time. Intimate experience with super knowledgeable guide in Finn and a beautiful boat. We went to 2 amazing restaurants right by the sea where we were dropped off by the boat and walked to the doors by Finn. Great food, ambience, service and fab tables at both of them.
Hi there, thank you for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Progressive Long Lunch Cruise and found it a memorable way to experience Sydney from the water. It’s wonderful to know you loved the intimate atmosphere, beautiful vessel, and exceptional dining experiences. We’re also delighted to hear our crew helped make the day seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on board again soon!
We boarded the vessel right on time. Our guide, Ned, was very helpful. He gave us a safety briefing, showed us the sights, offered us drinks and answered a million questions. We were blessed with perfect weather for viewing the sights and traveling across the harbor. Our trip progressed as described in the itinerary. Our first lunch stop was Doyle’s restaurant. Doyle’s is over 100 years old. There was a great selection of appetizers to choose from as well as a wonderful view of Watson’s Bay with Sydney in the background. Our second stop at Balmoral Beach was Public Dining. Again, we had a wonderful selection of main dishes to choose from and a nice view while dining. We finished our progressive lunch with a cheese board for dessert while cruising back to the Circular Quay drop off point. The pacing of the day was perfectly timed and we enjoyed it immensely.

It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed each stop and found the day perfectly paced. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on board again soon for another unforgettable experience on Sydney Harbour!
The Captain and Tour Guide were knowledgeable and friendly and did everything possible to make our day lovely. Only having six of us on board really added to the tailored experience.. And the food! And Champagne! Beyond expectations! Add in perfect weather and we couldn’t ask for more.
Hi Susan, Thank you so much for this kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed this cruise, our crew's hospitality and of course the food!
Fantastic day out on the water seeing the harbour and visiting two excellent restaurants. A must do in Sydney. The crew were superb; friendly, professional and informative. Timings were excellent and the whole day ran smoothly. A day we will never forget.
This was our 3rd (I think) Long lunch cruise with my wonderful friend Amber. We thought ( per our last 2 cruises) that the cruise was to be private( ie; 2 of us plus the cruise crew, but it wasn't, we had 4 other people. ) . Otherwise, the 2 lunches and cruise itself was fantastic.
Surprisingly bigger boat than it looks. Knowledgeable captain and crewman give information on the harbour highlights. Large glass of champagne to start and coffee later but cheese and biscuits a bit disappointing. We stopped for starters on the beach at Doyles in Watson’s Bay and we had grilled octopus and fried stuffed prawns. Both great but prawns had a sauce which made the prawns outstanding. Service a bit strange. Stopped in Balmoral Beach for lunch at the Balmoral Public Restaurant which is a lot posher than it sounds and overlooks the beach. Staff were great. Seafood paella was good but the best bit was a roast vegetable side. Getting in and off the boat was a bit unsafe and we got stopped by a police boat checking pilot licences but the trip is fantastic and a great, relaxing way to spend 4.5 hours.
Restaurant choices were amazing. We were not rushed and the staff made us feel like VIPS. Jason and Nathan were our hosts on the boat and both went over and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Such a fantastic day, not only did we have great weather but the entire day was perfect. Staff were so so friendly and nothing was any trouble. The two venues were unbelievable and dessert and cheese and more drinks on board was fantastic. Was a beautiful gift from our daughter and son in law, and we couldnt have asked for a better present.
We did this for our Christmas party. Absolutely wonderful experience! Gorgeous boat, food and service.
With the unpredictability of Covid, we decided to celebrate our 25 year Anniversary in our own city. The Long Lunch Harbour Cruise operated by Sydney Princess Cruises was the best decision we could have ever made. Greg and Dave made our trip so much fun. Captain Greg was a wealth of knowledge when it came to everything Sydney Harbour. If you think you know the history of Sydney, you are put to shame by Greg’s immense knowledge. “Pilot’ Dave made our day so special by ensuring our glasses were always full, our own music was blasting around the yacht and always ensured our absolute safety when getting on and off at Doyle’s and Balmoral. Our entree at Doyle’s was beautiful and The Public Dining Room at Balmoral was the perfect place for a delicious meal. Both restaurants really took care of us. We ended the day with simply delicious desserts and cheese and crackers for our trip back into Darling Harbour. We would do this again and we are planning it with our adult children next time. There was nothing I would change about this experience. 10/10
