Mentre navighi sul fiume Zambesi superiore, vedrai anche la nebbia che si alza dalle magiche Cascate Vittoria. Il fiume Zambesi è il quarto fiume più lungo in Africa, il più lungo fiume che scorre verso est in Africa e il più grande che scorre nell'Oceano Indiano dall'Africa. Il fiume lungo 2.574 chilometri (1.599 mi) nasce in Zambia e scorre attraverso l'Angola orientale, lungo il confine nord-orientale della Namibia e il confine settentrionale del Botswana, quindi lungo il confine tra Zambia e Zimbabwe fino al Mozambico, dove attraversa il paese a sfociare nell'Oceano Indiano. La caratteristica più nota dello Zambesi sono le Cascate Vittoria.
Questo parco è costituito da 40 km di facciata del fiume Zambesi e da una vasta gamma di fauna selvatica, ricca foresta di mopane interna e savana. Il Parco Nazionale dello Zambesi è congiunto con il Parco Nazionale delle Cascate Vittoria ed entrambi i parchi coprono un'area di 56 000 ettari. Un'ampia varietà di mammiferi più grandi può essere trovata all'interno del parco. Se sei fortunato potresti incontrare animali come ippopotami, elefanti, coccodrilli, kudu mentre navighi sul fiume Zambesi.

We specifically wanted a birdwatching cruise. Captain B was very knowledgeable and knew where to look for maximum opportunities to see different species. He has extensive knowledge and happily answered our many questions. He and Sharon were delightful hosts and what a lovely breakfast. Highly recommended.

So glad we did this it was amazing. We originally intended on going on an evening cruise but our times didnt work out so we opted for the sunrise cruise. Yes it is an early start but it is so well worth it, forget the sunset cruise do this instead. Just the 2 of us on here plus the Captain and Yolande who served us and was wonderful. We only saw 2 other boats on this morning cruise so the wildlife was not disturbed we saw Elephants, Hippos and Crocodiles and an amazing peaceful sunrise. All this and a magnificent breakfast, what an incredible way to start the day. Back at our hotel in the afternoon we saw the sunset cruises set off and there must have been 30-50 boats on the water all vying for position and all very noisy, we were so glad we went in the morning. Brilliant cruise, lovely people and picked up and returned to our hotel so no hassle at all. Brilliant value for money and a brilliant experience

The sunrise cruise was a great experience! It’s private and personal, and just a nice romantic or calming experience. The driver was extremely friendly, and the captain and wait staff on the boat were really kind. We saw tons of hippos and birds that the captain pointed out.
