I would definitely recommend this pirate boat experience. Captain Jack pigeon was the highlight of the trip he made us laugh so much and was amazing with the kids. My daughter is 11 and she loved it, she loved jumping off the wooden plank and swimming in the sea. She didnt join in. The games but she did have her face painted. The food was delicious and generous portions. The kids entertainment was brilliant. Cant fault anything.
Amazing experience! It was so entertaining for the kids, there were games, dances, magic show, acrobatics show and it’s all while sailing along the coast of the beautiful Paphos! I definitely recommend it for families with children.
What a great trip! Captain Jack pigeon was just hilarious, with help from pirate poppy, he really makes this trip so much fun. There was pirate training, acrobats & a magician on top of the swimming, food and face painting. This is fun for all the family - not just the kids. There is a bar where you can buy snacks and drinks and they aren’t at rip off prices. Only criticism I have is not to do with the trip but the transportation. We were picked up so early that we were sat around waiting for about a hour before we set sail but regardless, i would highly recommend this trip.
We had a great day on the Jolly Roger Pirate Cruise and would happily recommend it for families with children. The pirate-themed entertainment was fun without being over the top, the crew created a really friendly atmosphere, and the swimming stop was excellent. Our children had an amazing time, and it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Paphos. The whole experience felt relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable. The only downside was the coach transfer to the harbour. It appeared to be oversubscribed, and there weren't enough seats for everyone, so some passengers had to stand for part of the journey. We felt this shouldn't happen, as everyone who books should have a seat on the transfer. Apart from that, everything else was well organised, the staff were friendly, and the cruise itself was excellent. Overall, we had a really enjoyable day and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Paphos, particularly families looking for a fun excursion.
We arranged a trip on the Jolly Roger with 3 young children, they were all very excited we waited for our hotel transfer pick up, after half an hour of a no show I rang the company only to be told that the trip had been cancelled due to The weather. This is understandable but to not let us know in advance is terrible. We had 3 children waiting who were left disappointed. Terrible communication and awful customer service
From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed it. The main entertainer put on a great show onboard the Roger. We would do this again if we come back to Paphos.
Captain Jack Pigeon!! A great captain and very 🤣.. Primarily geared towards a family with kids, but and the wife enjoyed it too. Kids were entertained, the was a good buffet lunch and bar where you can buy drinks. Time also for a swim and you could walk the plank if you wanted. Also a power boat pulled along side, it was €15 for 15 mins of high speed fun on the water( seat belts not very forgiving). Great trip for family's, or couples.
Absolutely brilliant day out on the Jolly Roger ll in Paphos Cyprus! Captain and sea mates were excellent! Ali baba the magician was brilliant and frank and Kenneth I think that’s what his name was they were brilliant with there limbo, hat juggling and balancing displays! Really got to give it to the main captain pidgeon though he was excellent very engaging and a brilliant voice! I’d highly recommend this as a trip out we travelled with a few children ages 4/6and 9 and they all really enjoyed and the extra bonus of going on the dolphin chaser for 15 euros extra.. we had so much fun! Thankyou
What a fabulous and fun trip! We had always admired the ship in the harbour and decided to give it a go this year. And we are so glad we did! It was fun packed from the start, from the welcome drink of Billy Bones from Stavros the bar man, to singing along to Adam & The Ants as we sailed back into the harbour. We were entertained by Captain Jack Pigeon and his 'Piratey Pirates' Patty and Penny throughout the day with activities & games, sword fighting, making the evil Pirate Pete walk the plank (yes it has a plank), a treasure hunt, face painting and more. We did find time for a quick swim in the sea at the Secret Pirate Cove, and a bite to eat from the Buccaneer's lunch! As well as all this there was a fantastic kid's magician and a Pirate Acrobat duo too! All in all a great day on a great boat with great people! A big thanks to all the crew, the aforementioned Stavros and Pirates, and to Stella who was always on the go! And I can't finish without a shoutout to Pirate Patty for her lovely singing too! Oh and I almost forgot! The ride on the Dolphin Twister with David Husseinhoff (not his real name I suspect), was just exhilarating!! We will be back!
Overall it was fun for the kids We have 3yrs old and 6yrs old and there was plenty activities for them. As parents we had a bad experience when captain Jack decided to address the kids with the phrase "boys and girls, gender neutral, non binary etc" twice. We don't appreciate when someone decides to intervene and impose an ideological opinion on our children. The eldest child in our group was approximately 8yrs old. And shoving this agenda to toddlers and preschoolers is not appropriate, leave the responsibility of educating to family values to the parents.
