Crociera Passenger friendly Senza problemi Cave Tubing + pranzo locale

Descrizione

So glad David showed us around his beautiful island and shared so much with us, including lunch at his family farm where we got to meet his lovely wife and daughter. The tubing was a fun experience and a perfect place to be on a hot day. The best was being able to get out of the tubes and float down the river (we didn’t see other groups doing that). Our adult kids loved the beer/chocolate/hot sauce stop and we all appreciated David sharing his love of music. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!
until we meet again Family!
David runs a great program. He is very entertaining and professional. He was punctual and made it a great experience. Lunch at his place was great. His wife is a great chef. Don’t hesitate just book with him. You won’t regret it.
Aahhh..one love from our family to yours!
Great trip!! So much history and information. Lunch was amazing! Wonderful family experience! Thank you David!!
Thank you my Friends!
My husband and I stopped in Belize on a recent cruise and I was looking for a private tour for cave tubing so we could go at our own (rather slow) pace. I was so Happy to find Cave Tubing R Us (small family business) that checked all of my boxes (private tour, pick up at the port, no carrying tubes, finishing the tube tour close to the car, traditional lunch). Antwan (spelling?) was waiting for us as soon as we got off the tender (even though our ship docked an hour late) and drove us to the Nohoch Che'en Archaeological Reserve (Caves Branch) while giving us a little bit of the history of the area on the way. Cave tubing is really the experience not to be missed in Belize and Antwan was a Wonderful guide! There is about a 30 minute walk through the rain forest and the river to get to the cave. While the surroundings are Beautiful and the walk is on relatively flat ground, the surface of the ground and the river is covered in large smooth stones that make the walk unsteady at times and somewhat challenging. The reviews are exactly right when they advise wearing solid soled shoes (crocs or crocs sandals with backs are a perfect choice; not water shoes). Sadly, the walk to the cave proved to be too difficult for my husband so he stayed behind in a nice shady spot while I adventured. I enjoyed the walk with Antwan who was great company, and the tubing through the cave is Amazing and effortless once you are there (not for Antwan who was working all the way through guiding my tube while explaining everything along the way!) The water is just the right temperature, feeling great on a hot day, and tubing your way for about an hour through a cave and then back through the rain forest on your way out is completely an Awesome experience! We stopped for lunch on the way back to the ship at the family’s very rustic picnic-type restaurant where our plates were ready for us when we arrived. We were happy to have a traditional Belizean meal (chicken, coconut rice and beans) which was spicy and delicious. We did not choose to go zip-lining, but would have had time to add that option if we had wanted. Antwan got us back to the dock for our tender and we were back on the ship long before final boarding time. Wonderful day in Belize!
Thank you for such warm vibe and a true adventure spirit!
Wonderful Belizean guide through and through. Owners are a family who take great pride in their country. Positivity, energy, hospitality—all first rate. Antwan (Antoine? forgive spelling) is an adult son of the family and is a true guide—activity, culture, conversation. We had 8 on our tour, from kids to grands, and I can’t imagine a better guide.
Thank you for selecting to experience Belize with us.
Such a wonderful time with Antwon, he worked so hard to keep all 15 of us happy and educated. We even went and had local lunch we all devoured! All ages loved this! We would recommend doing this 100%. The walk to the cave is long for someone who has trouble walking, but it is absolutely beautiful! We really really enjoyed this adventure!!!!
wonderful to learn of your amazing experience with your guide in Belize!
So… much fun, our guide Antuane was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun, especially for the kids! He kept them engaged with interesting facts and humor, making it both educational and entertaining. Highly recommend!
thank you for the recommendation!
There were pros and cons. I booked this because there were several good reviews so I am leaving a review for other people to know what we experienced. Pros: lunch was delicious, tubing was fun, guide was knowledgeable. Cons: air conditioning in van was not working so the drive to the tubing location and back to the airport were very uncomfortable. The guide was smoking “something” (definitely smelled like marijuana) right before we were getting in the tubes to go into the cave. I know this is more common now and it would not bother some but we felt is was unprofessional and we were not comfortable with it. Especially since the guide was also the driver. Tip: take your filled water bottle with you, we were thirsty after the tubing and we forgot to bring our own water. Drinks were only provided with lunch.
Appreciate you taking the tour with us and your personal experience and views to help us enhance the experience for everyone.
Tour guide was great knowledgeable he knew the area and history. The cave system was amazing, and the body surfing afterwards a hit. Lunch was delicious and a complimentary soda was on point
Thank you for the love and personal views and experiences
Standout experience with David! He greeted us with a smile and a sign with our reservation name. He shared facts about town and our upcoming cave adventure as we drove to the site. We stopped for refreshments and snacks at a gas station halfway through the drive. When we arrived at Nohoch Ch’een, the cave site, our guide led us on a less than 1 mile hike to our tubes and the water’s edge of the cave opening. Our group sat, and David swam us into the dark. I won’t spoil it, but we had an amazing experience here! After we exited the cave, we floated along past other tours who had to end their journey there and begin walking back. We continued floating back through to the end, to our shorter walk back. All that adventure makes one hungry, so David drove us to our lunch spot where we were greeted by a complimentary delicious meal, water, and soda. I would absolutely recommend this excursion. David was humorous, informative, and infused his energy into the day.
