Dopo aver salpato dal porto della città vecchia, passeremo lungo le mura della città. Le mura della città di Dubrovnik che circondano il centro storico della città furono costruite come sistema difensivo. Oggi sono una delle attrazioni più famose di Dubrovnik, nonché il più famoso monumento di Dubrovnik protetto dall'UNESCO. Le mura della città di Dubrovnik sono considerate uno dei sistemi di fortificazione medievali più grandi e meglio conservati.
Passeremo dalla Fortezza di Lovrjenac che si distingue dal resto delle Mura della città.
Il ponte di Dubrovnik, costruito nel 2004, si illumina durante la notte e collega due parti della città. Sotto il ponte si trova il punto in cui il fiume Ombla incontra il mare Adriatico.

The boat left much to be desired. The ride was beautiful but I expected the "captain" to tell us something and give us some indication or at least there was some music. We were a dozen people and we were an hour in absolute silence. The sunset was wonderful.

A surreal experience, felt like I was in a film. Really loved it. Just an FYI, that it take you to the new port but not back so may be worth planning a route home. Excellent value. We went on the 8.15 cruise in September so the sun had set which meant you didn’t see much of Dubrovnik but the lights of the city were very pretty. The experience is more about being on the boat itself. If you want to see more than just pretty lights and a fantastic boat, I would recommend the earlier trip. Drinks on board are quite expensive but it is a short trip.
