John set us up with an outstanding driver who knew how to flesh out the rough plan we had. SO comfortable and convenient! Our driver Mark picked us up at our hotel and spent 4 days driving us around Kilkenny, Rock of Cashel, Killarney, Kerry Loop, Kerry Cliffs, Dingle, Skelligs Islands, Blasket Islands, Muckross Manor, Adare and more. The E Class Mercedes was superb and when I chatted with others in the pub at night with Driving PTSD I was glad I listened to my wife and booked through John. If you want to see Ireland instead of missing it while fighting for your life on narrow roads, let me tell you; you will be glad you did this. Mark the driver recommended over half the things we stopped to see. We had a rough outline; Mark made it a vacation. Need a bougie coffee; Mark knows where. Ready for lunch? Mark has a place (and you can enjoy a pint). And if you are a bigger group, it’ll be even better because the luxury Mercedes van sits high enough to see over the hedges on either side of the road and is just as comfortable as the E Class Mercedes.

Had a wonderful day tour with Paul. We wanted to make the most of our day transferring from Galway to Dingle. Paul was knowledgeable and flexible and made a couple of changes in our itinerary that still worked with the schedule. We drove through the Burren, visited the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle, and drove through Adare. Paul took the more scenic routes through the Burren and on the Dingle peninsula and stopped several times for us to take in the view and get some photos. We had a fantastic lunch at a pub near Bunratty Castle that Paul recommended and it did not disappoint! It was a great day of sightseeing instead of just a transfer to our next stop!

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Pat was our driver and he was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better driver, a better company or a better time while we were there! Very informative but also willing to adjust on the fly if needed and knew exactly where to go and they were very open to what we’d liked and didn’t like to make the itinerary! I would let anyone and everyone that I know going over to Ireland to book with Ireland Vip tours!

We had a fantastic tour with a driver who had good insight into the places we went to visit, and good input to detours we could do to optimize our experience. Driver was kind, funny and very reliable.

We couldn't have asked for a better driver for our trip through the west of Ireland. Willie was punctual, professional, and made every journey feel easy — from Galway out to Connemara, along Killary Harbour, and down to Westport and Castlebar. He clearly knows the region inside and out, and had great local recommendations along the way that added so much to the trip. Traveling with a teenager, I especially appreciated how patient, friendly, and easygoing he was — he made both of us feel completely comfortable and safe on the road. His driving was smooth and careful even on some of the narrower, winding routes, and he was flexible when our plans shifted. If you're looking for a private driver in the west of Ireland, I can't recommend Willie highly enough. He turned the logistics of getting around into one of the highlights of the trip. We'd book with him again in a heartbeat.

Our driver, Pat, made our anniversary trip to Ireland extra memorable!! He is a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of Ireland and always had a story to tell about each site! He also knows all the most beautiful places to go and how to best utilize the days we had, while leaving some flexibility for exploring or modifying as the trip went along. He was always courteous. This is definitely the way to visit Ireland, especially if you’d like to see the countryside and castles as well as the city. Highly recommend!

Our Driver, Willie, was an incredible guide from Dublin to Doolin and Athlone! We were toured around the historic Irish Midlands and West coast, seeing such graet sites as Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher. As a special treat we stopped by at Sean's Pub in Athlone, the oldest pub in Ireland. The car was prompt, spacious and clean. Willie was on point with facts and stories of the various locals, and also let us rest when we needed it. By far the best private tour I've had in Ireland, and I would book again.
