Dopo circa 2 ore di viaggio in pullman da Launceston attraverso il paesaggio lussureggiante e i terreni agricoli ondulati di Sheffield e della costa nord-occidentale, arriviamo al Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Situato al confine del parco, goditi i display interpretativi, le informazioni sul parco, le informazioni meteorologiche aggiornate e impara tutto ciò che c'è da sapere su questa splendida area alpina. Il Centro dispone anche di servizi igienici, un negozio di articoli da regalo, una caffetteria e un take-away ed è noto per il suo personale cordiale e competente. Bellissimi giardini nativi circondano il Centro. Goditi una breve passeggiata di 5 minuti fino alle cascate, note come Enchanted Forest Walk.
Rimani a bocca aperta mentre ammiri la potente e maestosa Cradle Mountain che regna sul pittoresco Dove Lake. Goditi una passeggiata di un'ora a Dove Lake con una guida professionale che ti porterà fino a Glacier Rock e una visita a una delle spiagge di quarzite di Dove Lake.

Wonderful tour! Cradle Mountain is beautiful. We didn’t have the best weather but still enjoyed. Loved the 2 tour guides and all of the information and history they told us. Was really nice to be given hot drinks after Dove Lake and sit in the visitor centre to eat our lunch and look at the view. The lunch provided was very nice. Had a wonderful day.

Great trip, guide was very knowledgeable and the bus driver absolutely nailed the windy roads! We missed out on seeing the murals as we ran out of time, due to passengers coming back late at designated times. Otherwise, there was plenty to see and do at all the stops and it's a beautiful part of the state! 😀

Our Cradle Mountain tour was a fantastic experience. Ben was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what he does. The locations were beautiful, and the scenery throughout the day was stunning. I also really appreciated the lunch from a local bakery, which was delicious and made the tour feel like very good value for money.
